Welcome to the route that takes us to the summit of Aconcagua.
This video will guide you through the Quebrada de Horcones, also known as the normal route to the summit of Aconcagua, from Mendoza to the summit.
Also, along the way I am going to show you the different types of trekking that you can do within the Aconcagua Provincial Park without having to go to the summit, including:
The day trekking of the Horcones lagoon trail, the day trekking to confluence, the short trekking to Plaza Francia or also called viewpoint to the south wall and the long trekking that takes us to the Aconcagua base camp.
I firmly believe that to conquer Aconcagua, more than good physical condition, you need experience in mountaineering and detailed knowledge that will help you acclimatize correctly and conserve energy to arrive in the best conditions.
If you are thinking about embarking on the adventure to Aconcagua, this video will give you an overview and highlight the aspects that I consider most important to take into account when you are here. I have prepared a series of details that will undoubtedly help you make the best decisions.
On the other hand, if you are not interested in coming, you can enjoy this video to learn what an expedition to Aconcagua is like during its approximately 15 days duration. You will be able to contemplate the beautiful landscapes of the Andes Mountains and experience what it is like to be at the summit of Aconcagua, even if it is just for a few minutes.
So take a comfortable seat and join this adventure.
