I got here because of you. But it really shows that I am not a fan of hard metal. I love the music and guitar playing, the melody throughout the songs, and the vocal parts (Especially combined with the melody). But the moment the grunting comes in, you loose me. It's just one of the view genres I cannot enjoy listening too. But I love the melody, it's really good!

最後に何気なく女の子が道端に咲いてる花を摘もうとしたシーン、あの花は男性が育てたからその花(男性の生きた証)が何気なく摘まれ本当の最期を迎える(消える)んだと思うと、鳥肌立ちました。 しかも摘もうとした女の子が裕福そうな家庭で尚且つ親から愛され友人にも恵まれていて、男性の家庭は両親の喧嘩に食べているのはシリアル。学生時代に学校では辛い過去を経験してそれでも大人になって教鞭をとる側になっても不条理で辛い経験をして、最期は通りすがりの女性を庇って死ぬ。しかもその助けた女性は目の不自由な方だから誰が助けてくれたのかも分からない、そもそも自分が襲われそうになっていることにも気づいている様子はなく、誰にも自分の死を、死に際を知られることなくひっそりと死んで行く男性とは対称的で誠実そうなあの男性がちっぽけな存在に思え泣けました。 そんでもって坊主頭のこの男性がいい味を出してるんですよ。涙をそそらされます。

花を摘もうとしてる少女と男性が庇った盲目の少女って同一人物ですよね。男性の眼球をおそらくは移植したのかなと思う描写もありましたし。(男性の瞳は事切れる直前に青さが強調されていて女の子がピアノに触れているシーンの顔抜きで瞳が青く光っていた、コメ主さんの考察どおり裕福そうな家庭の子なので移植手術も難しくはない。)最後は自分が守り目となったその女の子に男性唯一の命の証明とも言える花をただの道端の花として摘まれてしまう皮肉というか世の不条理みたいなものを表現したのかなとおもいました。

青い目の少年が死んだ後、その目が救った女の子に移植されたことで彼は完全には死なず(THE TESTAMENT最後の心電図が一瞬動いたことから)あの世からその目を通してこの世と繋がったことで、彼は今生きている女の子の見る世界を見ることが出来た(繋ぎ止めて君の幻)。しかしそこで彼は彼女が自分に感謝していない、自分は感謝されていないことが分かり悲しみ、叫ぶ(愛されたかった)。でも彼は自分が愚かで間違いだったと自身の生き方を後悔し、生まれ変わることを決意する。大切にしていたあの紫色の花を摘むことで、あの世この世と同時にかつての自分との繋がりも絶ち、「ダーク」へと…それがサヨナラということなのだろう。

Holy shit, just watched the video properly for the first time and got reminded of why acor has become one of my favourite bands. Unlike most music videos, this felt more like the song was adding to the scenes of the video, rather than the video just being an accompaniment for the song. They have these emotive (and for me, sometimes relatable) songs like this and Sketch and then the crazy, eclectic ones that push musical boundaries. I'm so glad this band exists.

4:15 - 6:10 I always comes back to this part if i need to find the perfect emotions and mood to write poetries. Prologue -Insomnia- feels like a soundtrack from some movies. And it contains some different vibes: serene, clarity in the first part, and anger in the second part, complemented by dramatic backing vocals and monologue that intertwines it.

Pertama kali saya mendengar lagu ini di tahun 2017 setelah M1917. Kemudian The Testament ini masuk ke playlist saya seperti biasa, dan berlalu begitu saja dengan lagu-lagu lainnya. Dan di 2024 ini kehidupan saya terasa berat, dan entah kenapa saya dengar lagi lagu ini, kemudian penasaran dengan arti lirik lagu The Testament ini. Saya cari, saya coba pahami makna yang diartikan ke Bahasa Indonesia. Dan ternyata makna lirik di lagu ini yang sedang saya alami saat ini. Dada saya sesak, perih, tangis sepanjang malam. Analysis: The protagonist, the blue eyed boy, gets bullied for not being full Japanese. He's suicidal, and the only thing he cares about is the flower which we see him watering. He smiles when he dies, both happy to be dead being that he gets bullied and he has a rough home life with his parents fighting, but also because he died doing something noble. We then see, who we can assume is his sister, the blue eyed girl. The blue eyed boy is now in some sort of afterlife. We see that everything is very pleasant for the girl. Her parents aren't fighting and as far as we know she doesn't get bullied, in fact- everyone is smiling. A little too happy considering a family member just died from a knife wound. The blue eyed boy is very upset about this, as he screams out. He thought he was happy having died, but now he sees that everyone is happy without him and no one grieves over his death. His "TESTAMENT" to his sister was the only thing he cared about, the purple flower which he watered so often, but she crushes it, showing her brother that he doesn't matter, and that no one is sad about his death. The story ends with the first line of the song "ILL," with Ryosuke, speaking for the boy, saying "sayonara" or "goodbye," being that everything ends after his only testament was crushed, both physically and metaphorically. Metaphorical in the sense that know one acknowledged the blind girl he saved. She doesn't know she was saved, and his family is happy about his death. Thus, our boy feels like he left behind nothing, as even his sister doesn't care for what he cared about so much. Something else I noticed is that Ryosuke, Takai, Take, and Baku are dressed in white in the grassy afterlife where the blue eyed boy is walking in during the second part of the video. Daisaku represents the blue eyed boy, as we see them both walking towards the other acor members. He's dressed in all black, because black represents death, more specifically the blue eyed boy who just died. Both Daisaku in the first half, and the boy in the second half of the video are shown screaming out. Eventually Daisaku is able to join the other members.

In my opion she got the boy's eyes and he can see the real world from the afterlife world by his old eyes... maybe she is not his sister and the boy is not half. QWOCK woah, I didn't think of it like that, that's really good! I think you're right! That all makes sense that they have the same eyes, so the boy can see what the girl is doing. At 6:35 the boy no longer has blue eyes, because the girl he saved inherited them. HIS EYES ARE HIS TESTAMENT! Another thing, is I noticed at the end of the first song, when we see the machine "flat-lining" because his heart stopped, right at the end it shows one heart beat, despite the sound of the flat line. I think this is to show that even though he's dead, there is still life because he saved the blind girl. Still, one thing I don't understand. Why is he so upset and why does the girl crush his flower? Also you have really good English, don't worry.

今作は語りが合ってた、 某エモバンドのような 陰鬱なリリックはとても素敵だった。 ライブに参加した際も、 彼等をリスペクトしてると 聞いていたので、 今作の一大コンセプトでもある 暗さや病みがどう表現されるのか 期待していたが、大作さんによる スクリームとの相性が良く、 漠さんの難解なギターリフの逸脱さも 相まってハイレベルな作品になっていた。 個人的には、佑典さんのベースの機材チェンジによるものなのか定かではないが、 マッド感のあるベースラインも良かった。 前作Gingerolでは 挑戦的なサウンドを 鳴らした彼等だが、 今作は各個人の演奏、 メロディー面、背景音面においても 一貫としていて、 完成度は高いと思われる。 外タレによって定義されてきた スクリーモというジャンルの 型を越えて、そこに語り的要素を 加えた日本人らしいアルバムと なっていた。 総じて、a crowd of rebellion がどういう世界観の音楽を 持ってるのか明示できていた。 今後が楽しみです( ´ー`)
