i just feel like this is what music is best for... just a clear and sensical vocal line, and beautiful sounds to just highlight that... i think classical and modern music dont really have the same emphasis on the importance of the vocals... like the instruments are meant to evoke the feelings, and the vocal is just there to accompany it... (generaly speaking obviosly...) the only other music genre that resembles this that i know of is chasidesh music...which is also great...

On the other hand, there has never been a better time to afford a GOOD guitar... If you can afford a Yamaha FG3, buy one and play it until you wouldn't trade it for anything...a guitar like that has the potential to rival the fanciest ones, after a few years of playing with love...😉
