What's the story with the '55 duo jet? It may have a '55 body but the neck is definitely post 1960. (thumbnail inlays, zero fret) A '55 should have block markers and no zero fret. There are occasions of a dynasonic equiped jet with thumbnail markers, but these are '58's when they transitioned into the filtertrons/thumbnail markers. There is also a dowel in the heel on the lower bout. I think the neck got broken and replaced with a later one..
