By far the best lesson on Acoustic EQ I've seen. Thank you Doug!

Outstanding and VERY helpful. I wish I had found your video first; I would have saved a couple of days' time! I use a Boss EQ200 to run multiple instruments through a silent cable on stage, and it's very helpful to keep my Kay archtop acoustic tolerable, but my wife's Martin sounds fine and much better from the k&k through the GE-7, with similar settings as yours. Tapadh leibh agus slainte.

Any advice for a setup like mine, having an eq on my guitar and on my Fishman Loudbox. I don't know if I should let one or the other be neutral and just boost/cut on the other.

Interesting video. My guitar has a B-Band pickup in it which includes a bass-mid-hi eq along with a "pre" and "depth" and frequency notches. I find that running this into a PA system that also has a 31 band eq, there are so many variables to deal with that I am having a hard time getting that warm acoustic sound that I want. My approach has been to adjust the 31 band eq for the room, then put everything in the middle on the guitar and do the adjusting on the board. Is this the right approach?
