The Thompson on this video is a killer...Great tone, resonance, depth and punch...best sounding of all the guitars played in this video. John sure displayed some incredible flat picking with that Thompson on that tune.. Unreal flat picking guitar playing talent. Jeremy also sounded incredible on that tune which I believe is very hard to master.

Couldn’t watch live but want to say that I would rather hear John take time to explain bridge styles than hear what everyone is watching on TV. The show is titled Shop Talk, right?

Well technically it's called Shoppe Talk...😊

Your statement that I never have given you a nice comment is not true..yesterday, for instance, I stated you all are interesting, entertaining and are great musicians. I have stated several times that John is an incredible bluegrass player and that Jeremy and his guitar playing has improved immensely and is impressive and that you obviously have been practicing. I have also on more than one occasion given praise to Hinkley, Corey and Liz... So please do not make statements about me that are not true.

Sorry Bill, I shouldn't have called you out on the video. I was just bothered after reading your comment yesterday "Watching the Acoustic Shoppe videos is a classic example why to never own a business with your brothers or sisters...Total drama, chaos, bickering, and struggling for power and majority ownership." I couldn't think of working with anyone as well as I do my brothers. I did appreciate your followup comment on the same video, and was being a bit playful in saying you never said anything nice. We appreciate you for being a part of our community, but remember we have feelings here too. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

Ah-ha John! You nailed the lick! Then Jeremy doubles it.😅 We won't talk about the retrograde lick.... Putting it all out there!

The term “run out” has no place or bearing in the guitar world ( unless you stare at the guitar back all day, in which case your eyes will go bad!). Leave the term to metal work.
