I wish that they had video of these sessions. That would make it that much funnier I think.

And I'd expect some kind of cold iron bars would be used that would neutralize his fey step.

Chris is indeed a merciful, humble and patience DM. That boar should have been on them after the second stealth fail

I like how Chris the DM gives extra information that this group just doesn't act on ever. The stonemason guild master was killed and the killer given to their enemies. The group should have gone to the stonemasons and sought help/information since they might know another way into the house/fortress. And have some support to create a diversion to get them into or out of the dungeon. But this group just basically goes running into danger without planning for other exits/outcomes. Almost every episode and season features this extras that the group just doesn't use nor seem to ever consider. TQQdles™

It's the truth. My players watch these adventures, and do the same thing. Just now, after 4 years of DMing for them, they've started looking in to the side information.

A good adventure should always have multiple layers and paths like those, but going into the creation of an adventure a DM should know most of them will go ignored. It's really easy to listen to these and think how you would've done it different, but sometimes at the table you're so bombarded with information that you just can't think of everything. It's rough!

You gotta admit; it's a lot funnier when they screw around and everything goes wrong.

The only thing that irks me over and over is the lack of understanding of temp hit points. Scott Kurtz: they don't stack. They didn't stack the first time you were told in Season 1. They don't stack now. They won't stack the next time you're told. Thanks.

+Mike Gould Who knows how long it is IRL between them playing season 1, season 2, and season 3. We may listen to them consecutively over the course of a week, but they have more time between games.

Alex John It's a year. They state that. Scott plays in multiple games. Here's a tidbit to rectify this: Temp hit points have worked the same way since 2E. 2E came out when? '89? Scott's been playing since "his dad brought home the 'red box'..." Each game is roughly 3-4 hours long...and such a rule comes up how many times? He's had lots of time and plenty of opportunities to contribute past whining over lost robots (spoiler alert). My twelve year old picks up that stuff faster.
