I JUST realized.... that Magic Missile would KILL Jim Darkmagic. If you take enough damage to do your negative value of full hit point total (in Jim Darkmagic's case, -2), that kills you outright. He took 4. He had 2. That's -2. That's dead. I know it's a DM's prerogative, and he can do what he wants - but I wonder if he (Chris) realized that.

I'm think that would just be considered unconscious, and you'd have 3 saving throw type rolls after that until you'd be considered dead, but I'm not sure

So, as a 14 year player of tabletop, I feel I can weigh in here. Yes, technically, Jim Darkmagic would be dead if his hit point maximum is 2. However, there is a lot to be said for careful homebruling. The thing is, the death of JM would have been annoyingly difficult to deal with cannonically. What I imagine Chris (he who is DM, and there shall be no DMs before him) did, was consider Jim's max as his usual maximum, which, while low, is more than 2.

42:50 This is "men thinking they can get away with acting like children" on 2 different levels. xD Irl, they just assumed their mental state would have been altered as well, and so they act like children thinking they have a good excuse. And in D&D both of their characters are now children, and with their mental state completely in order, they take the opportunity to act their visual age with both hands. It's great. 2:00:20 Should have said: "Including yours? All of them." That way you avoid taking a guess at how many cubes there are.
