This was FANTASTIC! For one, a lot of it is spent doing like over-the-top side quest which i think every D&D campaign run has and that's what real D&D is; obsessing over tiny player decided shenanigans while the DM just slowly dies counting away the minutes until they can reveal some really fucking cool new storyline. But in playing out the shenanigans it actually creates a lot of really good memories. it's another one for the "it's the journey and not the destination that matters" logbook. I look forward to the next podcast/installment of the story.

Holly was a fantastic choice to add to the show. I was legitimately sad when they gave her the out at the end because the chemistry is great between her and the team, but there are also tons of other fantastic characters/performers in the mix. Amazing that the time they taught mike to play D&D evolved into these annual stage performances/spin offs that could have its own pre-game show and line-up analysis. Another great job by all the cast of AI and the support teams that make it possible.

I know this is an old post but I just wanted to say for the last eight years I had a bf who played D&D with his friends every weekend! I was never a fan and could never understand what they enjoyed about the game as they where so slow and it didn’t ever look like anybody was doing anything? Then recently I stumbled across these videos on here and WOW! If they played like this I think I would have joined in as this is so fun! Just love watching these wish there was more! Fantastic now I get the attraction!

@Lostcause78-Well not the entire Waffle Crew, just Strix but if you're wondering, watch Camera Dice Action. That's where Strix originally comes from, or that group is where Strix originates anyway. I believe they call themselves the Waffle Crew if I'm not mistaken, they coined the name in like the second or third episode but I could be wrong. Yeah I just checked it's at the beginning of the second episode that they agree to the name, their paladin Evelyn suggests it in the first episode and it carries on to the second as canon.

There is typically one player that always plays to the audience and I find it hammy, distracting and obnoxious. You are playing with the group; engage with the group. Don't sell your one liners to the crowd - throw your lines to your party and you will get an even better reaction. I found her distracting during the second half.
