Got my Cryo Blue paddle out for the first time today. Spot-on, Wade - the paddle has ZERO flutter, nice flex, and great power for a blade that's smaller than what I'm used to. Having a considerable set of mitts on me, I especially like the larger diameter and the right side grip.

Been waiting for this review. They seem legit but I’m not crazy about the color of this paddle. I know I know, it’s not about color, it’s about functionality but as much as I sound like a broken record even with boat colors, more options would always be nice. I know they’re a fairly new company so hopefully that’s a possibility in the future.

What color would you prefer?

@@1978JWJ I like black but there’s the obvious of it not being so visible, nothing some 3M colored electrical tape can’t fix though. Black shafts with different colors blades would be nice too kinda like what select paddles did with their wild series. I think more options are a good thing for the consumer, probably not so much for the manufacturer cause I’m assuming price, demand and time play a factor. That’s just my 2 cents. Don’t get me wrong, even though I’m not crazy about the color, it won’t detour me from picking one up if I found it to be a great paddle functionality wise, just saying that more color options would be cool, then again, I say the same thing about certain boat manufacturers and dry suits so this is just one of my pet peeves.

Yeah understandable that paddles with color added might not be for everyone I’m sure Acraworks will have other options in the future these are really good and mine has held up to everything I threw are it

How does it compare to the G Power? stiffness, feel in the water, shock transfer up the shaft?

Gpowers are amazing paddles but Very different from this one the Gpowers are a elite/race boaters dream and mine is still holding up well and I love it But I try to never touch a rock with that blade the metal tips and the hollow blades have zero shock absorption or flex like I said with that paddle if your hitting rocks might want to reconsider but this one is pretty much a everyday paddle

How tall would someone have to be to paddle a 206? 7 feet? Does Shaq kayak?

It’s not as much height as it is reach and paddle in the water my fishing paddle is a 240cm Ad afar as whitewater the extra length is so good to have in big flows and race flatwater ect but to much for small creeks that’s what adjustment paddles are so good to have

Why 45 offset instead of 30?

I personally want a adjustment which is what I have now but if have to have a fixed blade I want 200cm 45offset feel that’s the perfect everything size I like the little more twist in the paddle

@@WadeHarrison Also, very curious about the 45 offset. Why? Isn't that a relic of the past? I just lost my 30 degree shogun and had to paddle out the last 2 days with a 45 degree breakdown. I did going back to a straight shift but I kept missing strokes and had diving braces. I thought 45 degree died in the 90s? Why the return?
