ReactR or indra??

I have paddled both boats. The M/L Indra and medium ReactR. The Indra's stability is amazing combined with its bow rocker you literally feel like you are in a monster truck. I personally found it rolls slower with its big side walls which can throw you off. It also can be deflected off features if you aren't squared up to them. The ReactR takes some getting used too but the more I paddle it the more I love it. It is super nimble and changes direction effortlessly with its pivot hull. The Indra is a little more locked in with more boat in the water.

Personally I like the ReactR more but they both are great boats. It comes down to what you prefer

I bought a TSTescooter 10” VS4 Max Pro+ Full Suspension Electric Scooter directly from TST in September of 2024. They claimed it went 20mph but only goes 16. When I called them, they claimed they would send me a part that would fix it, but I would have to install it myself. When part never came I tried to contact them but they will not return e-mails or phone calls. Now it's having trouble turning on and off. Company is terrible.

The ReactR is definitely a different boat the edges and tail are worth the upgrade. I think a good combo is firecracker 252 and ReactR

Can you access the front hatch while you’re on the water? And I’m not sure if you’ve ever paddled a tarpon 120.. but if you have.. how would you compare the paddling performance of the lite tackle 2 to the tarpon 120?

Personally I prefer the 242 had one demo and instantly loved it cause it paddles like my freestyle boat but it can river run way better than a playboat before that I paddled my mates 252 felt a bit big for what I wanted but did felt the potential and possibly may get one for bigger rivers over a getting a ripper

The million dollar question?...If you could only have one whitewater kayak what kayak would it be? My boys(20 and 21) and I(43)will be purchasing our first hardshell whitewater kayaks this winter or spring, and we are looking for the most versatile kayak to begin with, and we would be running a variety of different waters, but nothing too crazy until we get more experience. With that said, wev been paddling for many years, have many watercrafts(15), and have experience in class 2-3 Whitewater that we run in inflatables(AG Blackfoot 130, AG Navarros, AG Blackfoot SUP(LOTS of fun), and non whitewater hardshells(both SIt in and SOT), so we do have some experience, but definitely have alot more to learn. Any advice would be great, thanks Wade:) Im 5'9" 155, and my sons are 6' 145, and 6'3" 180.

I don’t think i would ever want to just have one but my list would be rEactR M as a creek/river running everything and hot whip or firecracker as half slice powerslide as a fast fun HalfSlice and nova as full slice

@WadeHarrison Oh I hear ya, it seems like the more I learn about Hardshell whitewater kayaking, and the more videos I watch, the more I realize that eventually more than one is needed..lol..We were all leaning towards the Reactr for our firsts, so your recommendation pretty much seals the deal on that for us:) Ill have to rewatch the reviews on the other recommendations, as I'm pretty sure we'll all have to have at least one more before long..lol..Thanks for taking the time to respond, it's very appreciated, and thank you for all of the amazing reviews you do for us all, you are truly a gem to soo many of us, and there truly is no better reviewer than you IMO:)

I have repaired 3 Nomads that cracked in that same area, but I use West System 665/8 two part epoxy and flame treat the surface after 80 grit sanding and 91% alcohol wipe. I apply epoxy two both sides of the split and I also drill the ends of the existing crack.

European and South African designers call that hull type a "transition" hull that starts out like a no rail displacement hull and transitions to a plaining hull somewhere under the knees. My Fluid Bazooka is simply the fatter version of this boat, with a similar transition hull. It is incredibly loose but can also hold its line well, and setting a ferry line is easily done with great precision.

Little late on this video, just cracked my gnarvana. I like how the boat paddles but don’t want to buy another. I’m worried about the plastic. Any thoughts on what boat paddles similar or what you would recommend. Thinking about a reactr s or m, Indra m/l, stoke, or scorch m. Looking for a creek boat for class 4/5 water. I’m 6’ 170 pounds.
