This is your second video on this prop... what are the water tox levels?

Same question for me as well.
@nriqueogКүн бұрын
Got to be pretty bad as the After thought mine site was added to the EPA Superfund National Priorities list.

The EPA is supposed to clean it up. You are welcome to contact them and see if they can give you a "level."

Is the new buyer responsible for any soil remediation due to old use of property?

How much toxicity left on the land?

is it buildable?
@MountainValleyRealEstateКүн бұрын
It would be really tough to get a well drilling rig into the property until the EPA improves the road in or you build on the west side of the highway but you will need a road up into that area. You can also talk to the Shadta County Building Department about improvements to the property and the permits needed, setbacks, etc.

Lol Nope. The EPA stated that the owners are not responsable for cleanup as it wasn’t thier fault.

Since you mentioned a " Mine " you ought to have Gone over there and Filmed it !
@MountainValleyRealEstateКүн бұрын
Then I would be trespassing, as it's privately owned. I did sell the property next door to the mine, so that one is no longer available.

Did you say this is a superfund site or I misunderstood?
@1dimeКүн бұрын
Just google afterthought mine to see its superfund information page
@nriqueogКүн бұрын
It's been added to the EPA Superfund National Priorities list.
@MountainValleyRealEstateКүн бұрын
Yes, it is and the EPA said they will be cleaning it up, the mine 1 mile away and possibly other related properties. They will also need to improve the road into this and the other property I have for sale which will be sweet.

Owner carry because banks won't loan, because of epa superfund site? Can you even eat the fish caught daily from the creek?

Miners messed up the land, made it toxic, and now they are looking for a looser to buy it and clean it up :D
@davejohnson691319 сағат бұрын
Trash the land with motorcycles ha ha no please don't . The mining area is interesting and sinister what toxic thing did they use to disolve rock or extract the silver ?
@patrickturner82479 сағат бұрын
As a SUPERFUND site, it has NO VALUE to any potential homeowners who may want to build a home/stead. Way too much pollution on site. Even as a recreational area, one should probably wear a respirator and any other PPE that they can find. I wouldn't put money in as an investment even with a guaranteed payment.
@mostdavestdave698 минут бұрын
California will get money to clean it up, but never actually clean it. The fund will disappear with little to no progress done.
