Always so fun to see you and your mom doing a project together. Strawberries on the lower levels for the grandkids, what a sweet idea! As you were planting your own beanstalks and sharing about being overwhelmed with choices, and losing sight of then returning to the starting goal, I realized that I have been implementing that same approach recently. Feeling overwhelmed is so familiar, but taking a step back and regrouping, simplifying, these are new to me. And I learned it from you. 🙂 I so enjoy how you give us the whole picture, not just the familiar or successful bits. You’re not afraid to learn as you go, and that makes your videos so much more interesting. Thank you.

Then any chicken you want top with potatoes, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Add 1full bottle of honey mustard salt and pepper to taste and cook on high for 4 hours. I have done it on med for 8 hours before. No water needed

Since you went into detail about how you did not add lemon juice to your tomato sauce, according to the "USDA Complete Guide to Home Canning" on page 3-5 it says you need add acidification to tomato products whether you water bath can "or" pressure can. Under standard tomato sauce it is in bold to add acitification. Pressure canning does not changethe need to add acitification. Just thought you would want to know since people watch your canning videos.

I may be wrong and don’t have the time at the moment to go back and watch the video (I’m back in from lunch) but I believe she said she added onions to the tomato mixture which are high in acidity if I’m not mistaken.

@@suzetteblair8419 If i am wrong I apologize. Using the direction in the USDA Complete Guide to Home Canning for tomato juice or vegetable juice with onions you still have to add acitification. Stewed Tomatoes with onions require acitification. Again, if I am wrong I apologize. I will still be putting lemon juice in my canned tomato products. It is just to easy to put in a little sugar in if it is to tart. I know she said she didn't want to put sugar in it.

I love crockpots for easy dinners. I don't usually do lasagna in one, because I prefer the consistency of and depth in a pan in the oven. I DO have a casserole crockpot though which is great if I want to do a casserole especially for a party or buffet meal. Enchiladas turn out great. In a regular crockpot use any of your freezer meal meat marinades you have posted recently. My family's favorite favorite meal in the crockpot is one called Key West Ribs from Pillsbury. Been making. It for probably 20 years at least. 2 1/2 lb country-style pork loin ribs 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1/4 cup barbecue sauce 1 teaspoon grated lime peel 2 tablespoons lime juice 1 teaspoon grated orange peel 1/4 cup orange juice 1/2 teaspoon salt In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, place pork ribs. In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour over ribs. 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 7 to 9 hours. Spoon sauce over ribs. Serve with rice and black beans, and a sprinkle of cilantro, and lime.

Thanks for sharing your greenstalks with us! Just an idea that I did this past summer here is Oz...I made a kitchen garden for my balcony which is closest to my kitchen...all my herbs went into the pots. It was such a great idea that some of my friends did it too, even the ones with no garden, who just had a balcony in an apartment! All we have to do is step outside and snip off what we want. I've now planted some lettuce in a mini lightweight greenhouse out there and just snip off the leaves for a salad. My veggie patch is further away from my kitchen so this worked so well for convenience! Happy planting!

I was able to plant some banana peppers this morning. The ground is finally warm enough. The mothers day gift for mom is wonderful.

I love crunchy bits on lasagna and make an area just for that. Lol. Your mom's garden is beautiful and yours will be gorgeous too 💕

Mixed opinion on towers. Aesthetically towers need to be hidden by plants. Functionally, fill it with favorites and enjoy. I like most casseroles slightly overcooked, so lasagna looks good 😋

LOL, her house and dad's patio 😂 It's good that things are set in stone early on. Nice job with the planting.

I just came in from our garden and 100 tomatoe plants fighting and water spraying off spider mites. Now plan to go and spray with Neem Oil and say a prayer this takes care of them and our Good Lord watches over our garden while we travel north. We leave tomorrow morning. Yes the view from your folks home is awesome. That is what I did for one of my grow towers is all strawberries. I have to replant some as only 50 % of my roots took. I didn't get them planted as soon as I received them so that may be on me. You now just taught this ole girl something about strawberries. I will now take runners and plant them into the wells that root did not take. I will do that as soon as we get back and then plant the other with herbs. Oh happy gardening even fighting afids and spider mites. I hope I drowned ours all out.

I am so incredibly happy with my greenstalk!!!!! My things are absolutely green lush and growing better than anything I have in my raised garden beds! Broccoli, cauliflower, kale, collards, herbs, celery, green beans, etc! Just amazing!! I highly recommend this to anyone!

The flowers are so important for pollination. They attract bees etc big time. I might add you can eat nasturtiums. Including the flowers from memory. The leaves have a peppery taste. And the sides of that Lasagna look absolutely perfect! I'd eat all those crispy side. Way too good for the chickens.

Becky I blame you for my new passion of planting my own produce. We live in a city in Germany and have one raised bed. Well now I have another big container with trellis for some of the tomatoes I started from seed this year. (I have to admit gifting the surplus of plants is the best part) And a big pot for my windowsill with different mint (you got me with that strawberry mint now I also have pineapple mint and chocolate mint) and my husband just got me a 5 tiered planter (81cm by 50 cm) for lettuce, Chili peppers and herbs. And I have a cheap version of the greenstalk (to see if I like it) for strawberries but I started them a little late so the plants are tiny still 😂

I absolutely love your channel and it’s a bonus when your beautiful mom is with you she is a blast and entertaining. Lol. Becky you glow and your so much fun and beautiful. The two of you absolutely complement one another (of course you do, mother and daughter.) I will have to make the lasagna for my hubby loves it and spaghetti. I watch and learn constantly even though I’m 75 lol. Hugs to both and I pray all is well with Josh and baby acre. Betty💕♥️❤️🌹🥰🙏🙏
This idea is either brilliant or crazy!
