Hey Becky! You’re probably not going to see this because there are already so many comments on this video, but I just really had to share this with you. I’ve been watching you since 2020. Batch cooking freezer meals has changed my life especially as a mom. My 3 year old has taken a liking to your videos, too, which doesn’t bother me because it’s better than her watching some mindless junk. But the other day she pointed at you and said “that’s Becky and I’m little Becky” 😂😂😂. She also loves to “run errands” so this particular video totally made her day yesterday. That is something I will definitely be doing. I tend to have a multi bag of toothbrushs on hand but I never thought to have a basket with goodies for my guest. During the holidays I tend to have several overnight guest, so this will be a great addition to add👍🏽

Normally, I wouldn’t watch your shopping videos because I hate shopping. But I am blown away by the prices that y’all have in your Goodwill. Our Goodwill for that brown chair would’ve been like $89, the gray one that you sat in would be like $189 our goodwill thinks that they are JCPenney‘s like, overly expensive.

A lot of goodwills are scams. Getting a jacket for free and they try and sell it for $300. They say its for charity but GW was caught not actually donating that much. Or the money in your town gets sent to bigger cities, so your goodwill rips off small towns to send money to big ones.

I am terrible when it comes to replacing towels. Some of the towels we’ve been using or what my mother bought in the 1980s and early 90s. Old as the hills. However, they were such good quality at the time, they have lasted this long and still look great. No pulls, nicks or tears. Nothing.😊

I don’t use traditional bath mats anymore! I use sutera , a fossil stone that absorbs water and never stinks or needs washing! Just sand it lightly after a few months with the round piece of sand paper that comes with it! I got a white one and a marbled black one for my bathrooms! Need a new one for another bathroom after it’s done being remodeled! I love them!

Costco, Dollar Tree & Aldi's are places that if you don't get "it" when you see it and know the item is something you will need but just not now ( within a matter of a month or so), the probability of them having the item when you do decide to go back and get the item, they no longer have it. I learned the hard way.

I always enjoy going with you on shopping trips. I go to Costco, and Trader Joe’s about once every couple of months. We also have a Target and Dollar Store close by. Agree - it is durable, easy to clean, and lightweight. This makes it easy for seniors or folks with disability to lift and use more easily, and if something gets dropped it is not a disaster

That type of bath mat I grew up with. We hang it on the side of the tub when we are not using it, it’s only on the floor when we are showering. It’s not the same as a bath rug which has the rub backing you were taking about. I actually am going to look for a new one tonight when I go to the store since ours is very old and I need to replace it.

It was fun to go shopping with you! I’ve been using the tray idea for a few years and it does seem to make a visual difference. Also, I put my oils on a tray near the stove and it keeps my countertop cleaner by keeping oil drips in check.

I’ve tried many different kinds of towels in my long life: big bath towels, smaller towels, and my preference always goes back to the regular size towels that come in a set for after a shower. I find it very cumbersome at my age to deal with a huge bath towel.

I was raised on fried peanut butter and jelly. You put butter on one side of the bread, but your peanut butter and jelly on it butter on the other side and fry it like a grilled cheese and a skillet you’ll never go back to cold peanut butter and jelly. They are absolutely delicious.

Whit towels are a good choice, Colored towels are often not colorfast and fade or get bleach spots.

Becky, I have been using those white towels that come in the 6 pack for 8 years now. Those bands on the ends DON'T shrink! I've been married for 43 years, and those towels are absolutely the BEST towels I've ever owned. I also use the hand towels and wash clothes. They absorb and hold up beautifully. Hope that helps!

Go to your local restaurant supply store and look for a plastic dough scraper. The best way to clean out your bowls. They also work great for kneading bread dough too. Just be prepared to find a lot of different things you can use. I love towel bath mats and I also made a few using my fabric scraps. They both wash well.

Smooth towels are wonderful for wrapping up in, but for drying purposes, I find i get a better result from the less fun courser towels! Thank you for the video!
