Upstairs in Coppes Commons, is a museum for the Hoosier Cabinet Company, and a display of the different models of Hoosier cabinets. It's an interesting place. And the bakery downstairs has some great stuff.

We have a Rural King here in Ocala FL. and I love it. I buy all of our Chicken feed Horse grain and Alfalfa Pellets there. A whole lot cheaper to buy than at Tractor Supply. This particular store is also a warehouse for Rural King, So they have a lot more stuff. If Y'all like Pickled Eggs, Those are the best I have evr had. Peaches are good too. I think I go there at least once a week for something. Enjoyed your video, Thanks for sharing.

Mrs. Rhonda that jacket is you. Looks great and l'll bet it is very warm. I like a coat that will break the wind. Who ever sent you those coats was a kind and thoughtful person. I also had a bad day with wires. I was picking peanuts (I am in Georgia) when the basket of my six row picker caught a low hanging steel carrier wire for our cable feed at it's lowest point in the field. I didn't know I had hooked it till the transformer arc flashed when it exploded. My tractor and picker are very big and heavy so I didn't really feel it. The wires came down on me and I was trapped in the cab till the co op guys got there and cut the power. I put several hundred people in the dark for about ten hours till it could be repaired. They didn't find me at fault cause the wire was supposed to be 14 feet off the ground and it was only twelve. Very bad day indeed. That is going to be a very nice shop.

Rural King rocks! I wish they would put one in Kalamazoo. It would be a great location. I'll go to the one in Niles when I work at my mom's house. I grew up in Niles and the Rural King used to be a K-Mart.

Outstanding video. Nice new longer format. Kevin's little electrical event reminded me of the time I was cutting into a wall with a reciprocating saw. I was sure and I knew for certain there was no wire inside the wall until I cut through it. The worst part was repairing the wire. Thanks again for the video. God bless you and your family.

Texas and Oklahoma both have a number you call and they come out and flag your lines from meter to plod. I got gas for a 1.97 last Saturday. Stay safe and warm!

Green Acres of Clay, I love the little trips you and Kevin take. I've been to all those towns when I lived in GR. Back in the late 80's early 90's. If you are ever around Mattoon Illinois, that’s where the first Rural King store started. The new store is huge and it’s also a distribution center. It’s the nicest Rural King I have been in. The one in Terre Haute Indiana is nice. The one in Paris Illinois is too but it’s a smaller store.

Years ago I was folding our 12 row vertical fold planter, and I accidentally hit the hyd. lever for the marker to my left and didn't notice.I drove down the road for a mile with the marker sticking straight up about 24 feet. I made a left turn at the first intersection and felt the tractor try to go sideways and looked back to see electric cable hanging on the planter. Fortunately it didn't catch the top wire of the two so nothing serious happened except some damage to one planter unit. A couple days earlier we were talking about someone we knew who had done the same thing, then I went did it. Safety third.

Hi Ronda! Did you stop at the gourmet popcorn shop at the front of the Coppes building? They have all kind s of neat flavors. Expensive ,but good! Rural kings are my favorite stores. Farther south in IN , they're more common----Kendallville, Fort Wayne, Muncie, Kokomo, Logansport all have one.Glad to see you got home safely!

It's scary when you hit a service line and glad no one got hurt. I hit an underground primary years ago. It melted the bucket off the machine. I'm getting the weather you had. The other day we had a front come in that produced 60 mph winds and dropped 4 inches of rain. When the front went through the temperture went from 54 to 32 in under an hour.

Kevin; just a suggestion, when you dig a trench to put various lines in the trench you could make a blueprint of what’s in there and what it is also you could put some yellow caution tape before you backfill one other thing in Massachusetts we call it Dig Safe but you are correct they don’t usually concern themselves with private property unless they are relatively sure there is utilities under their juristriction just thought you might like to know

I think the news said Michigan just received quite a bit of snow. Yeah,.....Farm & Fleet and Tractor Supply stores were my favorite stores to visit as a kid, and also into my adult years. IL had some Rural King stores, but nothing close enough to us to warrant a trip. Highlights magazine was one of my favorite magazines as a kid growing up in the 60's and 70's. Then, when I had my own kids, we had a subscription for them.
