Turns out I completely forgot an ability. special thanks to @vernonowen5358 for pointing it out. If you press space twice, instead of entering the adrenaline mode, the Acro will unleash a second roar, dealing HUGE damage in a large area around it, and will boost all allied dinos around with a 10% melee boost and a 10% damage resistance.

It should be noted. Despite adrenaline build-up being based on damage taken, saddle armor damage reduction is actually ignored in the calculations for the build-up unlike back in ASE, only the raw damage values matter. So an Acro with an ascendant saddle with get just as much adrenal build-up from a 200 damage hit as one with a primitive saddle would, even though for the one with the ascendant saddle that damage is heavily reduced. This also means that, if you're riding on an Acro in a boss fight, you can be a bit more generous with your use of the ally adrenaline roar, as you won't be relying on having adrenaline to recover lost health from tanking damage. Which also reminds me, all the Additions (except I think Heli and Xiph, tho maybe this got changed for them too with the updates that fixed their textures after the Scorched update broke 'em) now have their saddles available via supply crates. So them _only_ having primitive saddles is no longer something one needs to take into consideration.

Awesome video Spartan!. Cant wait to see more , maybe Evo Rex vs Acro would be nice rematch for the Rex fans dont you think? Anyway im relly excited for the scorched earth , and the paleo ark team is already making new fictional spino called empirosaurus , it should be more like the JP 3 spino, and it should be only on scorched and desert biomes so if Evo Rex cant beat Acro maybe he will who knows , it should be big so really excited for this spring . So thats all i have to say excited for more content Spartan , so see you in the next one.

Thanks man! The new spino does sound awesome. Yeah, I should have used the evo rex, it's abilities would have made the fight closer, but I do think in the end the Acro stil comes on top. SE content incoming sooon😉

Kinda wish the rex had a few more attacks like a heavy chomp like the shadowmane. Rexs (and most creatures) should have there neash. My idea for the rex is a simple brute force dino. Give it a heavy bite, some natural damage resistance and maybe a rivalry buff like the trike.

I just killed the manticore with Acrocanthosaurs on ASE a few hours ago and it was very chaotic, the Acros were way too large and couldn't fit on the podium properly and they kept getting stuck on eachother during the fight, their terrible turn radius didnt help. I did kill the manticore (alpha) and Maybe these issues are fixed on ASA, but I wouldn't recommend taking them to a boss fight.

Turning radius is better in ASA, as they are able to turn on the spot, similar to spino in bipedal. I'll give them a shot myself aginst the Manticore this week in ASA.

I really hope for ark 2, the devs go for a more realistic size and scale for each of the dinos. No reason why a giga, carcar, and acro should be massive compared to it. I don’t mind if they make the Rex smaller, but they absolutely should all be the same weight class, with the Rex being the highest. Realistically, only the Spino would be larger

@@akshayreddy4203 doesn’t mean they can’t have more of a squared off apex list. Right now, there are very clear pointers as to which ones are out right better, which is never good when you want the players to be able to customize their experience. At least if they have all of the apex creatures in a similar weight class, it adds tlc to some while grounding the others. I play path of titans too btw lol

I think the damage metal thing is from that “mega roar” you can do by pressing the adrenaline buff button twice to give the buff to your allies? Still probably not the best option to consistently damage metal but it’s still respectable damage against what it does hit

I think the Acro is designed for Depth and Garuga’s own ASE server since they removed all fliers and any firearms more advanced than the double barrel shotgun. So combat is all about controlling and positioning your land and sea armies. The Rex’s 1 dimensionality would make that sort of game design impossible where as piloting Their own custom creatures from Paleo-Ark or Additional-Creatures like the acro forces variable and a learning skill curve to fights.
