Yourlocallordandsavior I can't believe you're looking forward to seeing this dreadful "movie"!!! All this documentary proves is that cute and lovable Pauly was a real tyrant bossing around George and rehearsing his songs to death while again giving short shrift to John Lennon's "Across The Universe"! Paul sabotaged the February,1968 version by inviting two female fans into EMI Studios to contribute backing vocals!!! He'd never do that to one of his songs! "All Things Must Pass" was rehearsed only once, on January 29,1969, when the Get Back/Let It Be project moved to Apple Studios!!! The next day, January 30,1969, The Beatles performed that sloppy concert on the Apple Studios rooftop performing the dreadful "Dig A Pony"! John Lennon forgot the lyrics, twice!, to his love song to that talentless wench Yoko Ono! What sentiment!!! George didn't sing one Lead Vocal! The following day, the last day of the project ~ January 31,1969, Paul again was the center of attention relegating John and George to playing Bass performing "Two Of Us", "Let It Be" and "The Long And Winding Road". John and George didn't perform one of their songs nor sing a Lead Vocal! That would have been the perfect setting for John to perform "Across The Universe" and George to perform "All Things Must Pass".

Hustling them to make that dreadful "Magical Mystery Tour" British Television movie. It was so bad, the TV movie didn't air in America for years! Paul then hustled them back to make another British Television Documentary/Movie "Get Back' which proved to be another disaster all the while, rehearsing and recording his songs to death! Haven't you noticed all the different "official versions" of Let It Be, The Long And Winding Road, Two Of Us and Get Back?

I know that Paul had no bad intentions, but I’m here with John. The harmonies do not sound good. Perhaps they sound correct, but it doesn’t convey the dream-like feel John wanted. Paul’s idea of adding birds, children voices and some awful “ah-ah-ah”s replying in the chorus in the “World Wildlife Fund” version, kill the mood completely. That and the fact that the band worked so much on Paul’s songs and so little on John’s. Paul was the only Beatle pissed with Phil Spector’s beautiful arrangements but John and George liked them, specially John thought Spector album version saved Across the Universe from total catastrophe.
