Acrygel Overlay using Tips - Step-by-Step Tutorial

Hi guys
I'm Lisa Graves and today I'm going to be doing an Overlay on Tips using Acrygel.
I've already prepped the nails so I'm going to remove the surface shine and then apply my tips. Apply Primer and then a base coat before going in with the acrygel. Squeeze it from the bottom of the tube and then apply a dollop to the nail before using a brush and Gel Residue Wipe Off Solution to mould the acrygel into place, starting with the cuticle area, then use your brush at a 45 degree angle for the apex and then mould the product to the end of the tip - pull any excess off the free edge and then make sure there's no excess underneath the nail.
Remove the sticky layer and then file and buff into shape. You can now add your design but for this video, I'm going to just apply top coat.

I'd love to try acrygel once, I only use regular nailpolishes and gelpolish on my own nails. And acrygel/polygel seems like a good next step before I get myself into acrylics :3

Acrygel is Naio Nails brand of acrylic hybrid gel and Polygel is the brand name of another company's version. Hybrid gels absolutely *are* acrylic nail enhancements. Hybrid gels like Acrygel are perfect for beginners because they can shape and re-shape the nail until it's perfect and then cure it in an LED lamp. It's also quick and easy to file away any excess bulk. If you apply it as an overlay to your natural nails, or an overlay over nail tips, you won't need an e-file, either. Hybrid gels won't be under the free edges of your nails or nail tip extensions, just don't forget to check for under-free edge lumps and bumps before curing!

No you don't use 180 grit on natural nails. That's only for the extensions
