If a purist is against a traceable, they don't have to use them. To me, it's just another tool and was a great way for me to focus on my blending and shading. These days, I draw my picture out with water color pencils. It doesn't have to be a perfect sketch, you can perfect while you paint. This little guy is too cute. Thanks for sharing.

This painting would take me maybe 6-89 hours to paint. At this point we do not do long videos like that. We have smaller and more simple paintings that show more 💕

Are you using matte medium on the goat?

No I didn't. I did use mat medium with some mixing white when I lightened the sky up. I do thin the paint with some water when I want better paint flow. Hope this helps? 💕

What are the main colors used on the goat itself Annie?

In the video you can see where I apply the colors and combinations of colors. I would use what you have 💕 -- Colors: Prussian Blue, Burnt Sienna, Un bleached Titanium, Titanium White, mars black (Mix Prussian blue or Black with Burnt Sienna to make browns - or just use a brown) Naples yellow color ground, can use to warm up any colors you like. Time stamp 9:26 - 12 min. Hooker's Green mixed with colors on my palette for field. I did a long video so you can stop, fast forward to see the progress and colors - Paint this how you like 💕👍 hope this helps! GOOD LUCK! 😍

On the farm page, the goat is most of the way down on the left.
