Nice, are you putting the names on the opposite side of the color back ground, or layering it on top?

@@Abhinav19 Vinyl is used to apply words to your crafts. It can be permanent (used for cups or exterior projects) heat transfer or HTV (needs an iron or heat press to adhere the vinyl to the project.) The vinyl is what you use in your crafting machine. It comes in rolls or sheets. You can get it from amazon, walmart or a craft store like hobby lobby or micheals.

Quite a lot of work for some simple keychains! No one would ever know. I hope your friends appreciate them. A question: can you layer vinyl on top of vinyl? Will it stick? Could you have put the names on the back as well, covered by the color swatches, to shine through the front?

Be careful what you wish for. I have never tried to make these, yet I have every thing in the video to make them, with plenty of different options to choose from (colored vinyl), and more. That may not sound bad, but if you have to pay close to $300/mo for a storage unit and also have a house full of stuff, it's super overwhelming. The only time it's awesome is when you find a project you want to make and have everything for it. If you work, and have a family to care for like I do, that is a very small portion of your life!

Growing up with a name spelling like mine this is everything!! I couldn't ever just get a Keychain at the amusement park gift shop or wherever else all my friends would find their names and I'm left to somehow then draw on my 2 Es lol Now a days we have technology and makers with the combo of skill things like this are now available. I just got a cricut air2 a few weeks ago with intent to do stuff like this and I'm so lost lol. Its the vynl I need cost efficient but good material
