That is a fine scene Joni - you have an eye for nature. It may be a fantasy scene but at lot of the detail is is very realistic. I really like the way you paint trees - distant, intermediate or foreground thay are all convincing - keeping things simple is the key I guess, something I always struggle with. I've always loved trees and grew bonsai trees for many years and still have have a Japanese Larch which Ihave tended and trained for well over forty years. Makes me feel quite humble as given the chance, that tree will comfortably outlive me despite still being less than two feet tall. The tree in this painting captures that sort of spirit. Thankyou.

Joni, I want to say a sincere thank you. I followed so many artists and I am taking few steps towards painting too and I absolutely love doing it, especially when I have time to do it. But, watching you has been so far the best painting videos I've seen. So I watched this on my Fire TV this morning but couldn't comment. I love everything you paint Joni! You have a gift that only a few talented artists posses. The waterfalls and sun light rays are my favorite parts of this particular painting. I always seems to mess up the rays or at least they come out different on each painting I have tried them on lol.
