You are soooo creative and fun to watch!!! My daughter used this technique to paint some canvas's and sorority letters which turned out waaaaaay cool. So I got the bright idea to do our bathroom door at our catering kitchen. Since it was my first project, I am trying not to pick it to death, but I love it!!!! I can't wait to find something else to paint!!!!

Earlier today I was thinking about doing 2 porches, and do a swipe of some sort. Both are very small porches. But I'll have to do some thinking on that. I'm wondering if it would work using concrete paint?

@@TexasRose50 did you do those projects? How did they turn out?
@TexasRose505 жыл бұрын
Hi Mindy. No, unfortunately I did not get a chance to. My husband underwent triple bypass surgery and had complications. He will be going back to work Monday. We'll have to see how that goes. And now it's just too hot and humid. But it's still on my mind. Thanks for asking. I'm the type that once I set my mind to do something, I do it. But sometimes life gets in the way. Take care. :)

@@TexasRose50 oh, so sorry to hear about hubby's health issues. Hope he's doing much better now. That life getting in the way of stuff is just so annoying! How dare that happen. 😏 Well anyway, please be sure to post updates when you are able to get those other projects done. Best wishes and good luck.

I love this!! I just built a bench and I'm dying to try this technique on it. I'm a little unsure about trying it on something that isn't square/round as far as where to start the paint (the skinny end vs the long end). Do you have any thoughts on this?

Just a thought with the resin do a little purple and gold for 3d look.
@tina93work336 жыл бұрын
Anna Kl that would be cool to do a flake or glitter in the resin. Personally I'd do black, but that's just my odd opinion 🙂
That is stunning well done 😍😍 which colour was the acrylic ink and did you mix it with floetrol 😊😊
@daniellerancourt1646 жыл бұрын
Will humidity effect the drying of the paint? How long of a drying time do you suggest for humid/hot days? The only area I have currently is my deck, so I'm worried the weather may mess things up. Thanks ❤️

I have 2 outdoor tables with removable "slate-like" tiles. (15×15) They're textured like slate too. Any suggestions or helpful hints or just basically pour it as you would Any thing else? (Normal ratios, etc) Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
@MixedMediaGirl6 жыл бұрын
I would just pour them as usual :) Keep in mind if they're really like slate, they will likely soak up some of the paint, giving it a bit of a different look. If you don't want that, you should probably prime first :)
@rikkileeg.57926 жыл бұрын
Mixed Media Girl Thank you, so much. I don't believe it is true slate. Probably a cement cast. I've done some slate roofing in the past and slate will flake if picked at, so I should be safe. 🙄

was there anything different about that white paint vs the others because it looked like the white almost immediately made cells/speckles?

Not sure if you mentioned this before and I missed it but may I ask why you didn’t mix your paint with silicon ?
