You are very inspirational. You are the reason I started pouring. I absolutely love it, it has given me an outlet in my life that I didn’t even know I needed. Thank you! I always enjoy watching your videos and watch what you think up.

About how many oz of paint did you use for the record
@BECKYBOKERN3 жыл бұрын
about how many ounces of paint mixture do you pour on a record? I struggle with judging how much paint to cover different size canvases. I often get too much, or too little. Thanks!
@claudiarobinson966 жыл бұрын
I wonder if you couldn't paint on odd cds the same way? Or would the paint not stick to the CD because of the glossy finish.

about how much paint was in the cup (total volume) before you started pouring? it looked like 8 oz or so?

Instead of wasting vinyl records, you can buy metal discs and pour on those. They don't have the holes in the middle and come in assorted sizes.

Art is not waste.... I'm sure u ment it nicer than it came across.
@sharonhecker72516 жыл бұрын
@@EverydayArtByBrittanyGunter Art isn't a waste, but music is art as well. My point was that there are other items available to pour on, that's all. I use the round metal disks all the time. Maybe she's not aware they're available?

@@sharonhecker7251 all good I guess I read it and took it as negative.

Here's a thought: maybe the records don't play anymore, and her friend realized that they could be given new life as art. I wouldn't have used the word "wasting" as she's breathing new life into the record. Also, it's okay to have an opinion, but not cool to tell someone they're wasting something when said items could be in the trash instead.
@MixedMediaGirl6 жыл бұрын
Myra you are correct :) these are records that a record store was going to throw away, so my friend snagged them for me :)
