Very Theatrical.....surprising for RSC? Macbeth was presented well, Lady M??? So pushed and not believable at all......very surprised coming from RSC?

I agree, she is seen as a dominating woman who has power over macbeth in many scenes. I feel this was poorly acted.

@@lisamariarellanes6376 Well, quite civil of you I'm sure. Reading the text, Lady Macbeth is always dominating, w little or no idea of what consequences the success of their ambitions will have. She is weaker psychology, hence she flips, because she has only imagined the killings. Macbeth has done & so faced them... so he doesn't crack.

However, there are many levels to be captured and different tactics to add variety and color to her......and the way she goes about getting what she wants.....anyway, it does not matter really, I commented on my feelings and how I felt about this animated over the top, pushed performance, no big deal, just surprised to see this level from RSC......you commented on yours, and glad you enjoyed it. Lady M, one of my favorite roles!
