Unfortunately in rural areas there's no service provider. Even Air fibers are limited to cities and towns.
@arsemo0714 күн бұрын
Air fiber is more like a scam. If your locality has good 5G network then Air fiber will work. I don't understand why the air fiber plans are costlier than regular broadband fiber plans. Doesn't make any sense.
@its_april-t714 күн бұрын
@arsemo07 Yeah. In my village we don't have 5g or any broadband connection. Even if we pay a higher amount there's no provider. Being a student I have to rely on the unstable mobile data for video streaming and all.

@@arsemo07 For me AirFiber has a certain advantage. I have an Alliance connection, but I just have too many important calls and too many devices and that I needed another for my office work. I went with AirFiber (and I agree, it is as good as 5G coverage), but the fact that it's wireless is a huge saving. In my area, drawing a new connection, putting a new cable is a huge challenge, other ISP providers would sometime cut the wires due to competition, and the electricity department would not think twice before cutting the wire or throwing it away if needed (can't blame them though, the wire situation in India is not regulated and coordinated). I live in a rural area, and although my room has average 5G coverage, since the router is on the roof and is pointed towards the tower, I easily get 100Mbps. But yes I am wasting a lot of money on the stupid OTT subscriptions that's added, would have been great to have a broadband only plan from Jio/Airtel.

We got a mesh router called Eero 6 with one router and 2 extenders its a brand owned by Amazon, unfortunately they are not yet sold in India but damn they deliver the performance as stated. I got 300Mbps ACT fibernet in Hyderabad and my main router consistently delivers 300Mbps of internet speed ofcourse you have to be within 10-15 feet of the main router as you get farther the speed drops. And my extenders alone can do between 100-180Mbps speed. It has the same SSID you dont have need to switch but since its Wifi 6 the main router signal itself is very strong but if the main router signal gets weak it automatically switches to nearest mesh router. We wanted JIO Fiber because we previously used JIO but in our area where we moved we only have ACT Fibernet and this new mesh router has changed our internet experience for good.
@akshaysaxena761514 күн бұрын
Hello sir, I personally won't recommend ACT to anyone living in North India. I installed their fibernet to test as I was having with my Airtel connection but I didn't liked their services especially the false marketing. The person who came to discuss plan promised so much like brand new router on installation, refund if any inconvenience, top speeds etc. The speed was totally fine except for few dips but they installed a very old and dirty router in my home. Even though I paid 1k security and monthly recharge. I refuse to activate my plan until I get a new router but they auto activated it without my consent. So, I removed my connection after facing problems and they picked my router 40 days ago. Till now, I haven't received my 1k deposit even after multiple complaints, tickets raised etc. I have decided to file a consumer complaint and will keep complaining. Even though it is just 1k the behavior from the company is extremely disappointing.

From 300Mbps the speed got reduced to 115Mbps. And the latency went from 14ms to 80+ ms Ping HOW is this NOT different, or even WORSE, from Wi-Fi Range Extenders? For WiFi Range Extenders, you DON'T Need to Manually select the SSID. In fact, users can set the SAME SSID for ALL the units. This way, the connected device can easily and seamlessly switch between the routers with NO manual intervention. Bottom-Line: Get ANY affordable connection. Then connect a Good WiFi router as well as a WiFi Range Extender OF YOUR CHOICE. Ranjit, you have a Good Channel. Do Better and Don't Push a Promotion for ACT with pseudo information

The drawback with Actfibernet is they would lock the devices to be used only with act internet and they are hard-coded, it's too tough to get them unlocked and use with other isp in case isp is changed. Mesh systems are the best and that too if the satellites are wired too then experience is really great. Been using netgear orbi with jio isp and my whole house I get good coverage and nearby to the satellite or router that's 5ghz band I get full speed Act one problem is they lock their devices hence jio fiber (not airfiber) +jio dth +netgear mesh

I suspect they give a different level of service to influencers, so only FOOLS would believe your SINCERE praise of ACT. Kindly understand that ACT is using your GOOD-WILL to offset their BAD service, for which you will lose your reputation. Hence please delete this video and don't promote ACT (or AIRTEL)
