Focusing on mortars in NOT a bad idea. Me and my friend only placed mortars and accels down (w/ supports) in the second part of Act II and won without too much of an issue. We didn't use rangers since they're wayyy too expensive to use.

the new tower necromancer is VERY good but VERY hard to use, its earlier paths need upgrades to be viable. The final upgrade is stupidly good and its prob the best crowd control tower. (infinite pierce, aoe damage out the wazoo and to make things better you can have 3 of them)

elf has better spawn rate so it can spawn a LOT OF ELVES within seconds rushing towards the zombies

I heard that the act 2 would change in order to be difficult but I still havent tested it. I used to solo act 2 using gsoldier for phase 1 then spam minis and ace at phase 2 and it works multiple times.

It's easier with 2 ppl. on first phase first person spams wardens lv2 and second one places ace pilots 3 of them then get them to bomb dropping one to aerial ace then on phase 2, first person spams accel/turret and second person places some aces and dps

Nah cause i remember seeing one of the devs saying one of the acts were going to be hard but if they were talking abiut act II then they were definitely right, cause if you don't have enough dps towers like accel or ranger along with support towers like commander it almost out right becomes impossible with all the mini bosses like Frankenstein, but i might try eggs solo strat and see how it goes, for now it's just wait until act III baby

As someone whos obtained elf camp warden cowboy beat the last duck hunt event and beat act 1 all with randoms i can safely say that winning with fandom teammates is an absolute pain in fhe ass and takes like tens or maybe hundreds of attempts and a bunch of tolerance but with enough sanity lost you will eventually win

Advice: 1. Never do trios 2. If you’re with somebody who has experience, ask them what to do. 3. If you have everything and you want an easy way to cheese early game, spam level 2 g soldier. 4. Always bring 2 late game towers. 5. In late game, immediately get a MAX DJ, before spamming spamming the most efficient towers you have. 6. The rule of thumb for late game defense is that if an upgrade costs more than just getting a level 0, get the level 0. 7. When you feel like it’s safe, get CTA chaining. 8. If you wanna deal with the witches, get down mortars, as they’re the best option. 9. Trying to stun-bait the clowns won’t work. Look here, assuming you’re spamming minigunners, $475 will be a lot more valuable. Don’t waste it on the clowns that aren’t that much of a threat. 10. Don’t worry about Jack-O-Bot, it’s easier than dealing with the fallen king.

@hennynah ranger is better here cuz of witches and range cuz it covers the whole map while accel doesn't. Also this event doesn't really have a lot of tanky enemies just a few so accel needs to recharge many times(the boss is not rly a problem). This is why mortar is really good

my loadout was medic commander GMini rocketeer and g cowboy (I didn't even use the rocketeer idk why I brought it. (My teammate & and I both defended mid game him using Ranger and accel and me Spamming GMinis) His loadout was Ranger, Mortar, Accel, and DJ, also G pyro (I defended early while he saved up for accel spam post wave 10) (Also our 3rd teammate left after placing 1 LVL 2 GPyro on round like 7) (He got like 1 max mortar and that was enough for the crowds hence me not using the rocketeer)

Act II isnt hard with randoms as long as one person places lv 4 dj at the very beginning of scene 2 and you place lv 4 accels 1 by 1 in the middle of the map... the third person should use air defense towers such as ace or ranger.
