And bravo to you Mr. Harvey. I met you years back at NATPE in Vegas and you gave me suit advice about keeping that bottom button unbuttoned. Your daytime show is such inspiration. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes however, and it's needed; serious life topics. Keep up the amazing work sir!

I just ordered the book. Mr. Harvey, you inspire me to become the person I can be and achieve things I didn't think I could for 5 years ago. Now I'm doing a study to reach the next level and got a steady job where they offer me the chance to grow. Thank you sir.

Indeed Rwanda has given birth to A strong, Driven, Genocide Survivor and African refugee camps survivor, Determined, Passionate, Clothing Designer and Innovator, Fashion Model intellectual, Advocate, Business Owner, Leader, Professional and Role Model for YOUTH. " V-Muka Says " Perseverance, self confidence and team work are all qualities that evolved from the daily rigors of family life. It so happens that these are qualities vital for success in the fashion industry. Born in Western Uganda, V-Muka came from a very large family with seven sisters and five brothers. Growing up in such a size able family presented A lot of challenges that required a sort of strength that goes beyond the norm. VFASHIONS-MODELS was founded in 2000 in the fashion capital the world, New York City. V-Muka the founder of FASHIONS Inc is the first African women to own and operate a high-fashion modeling agency in the United States history and has become a presence in the world of fashion business. After arriving in the United States, V-Muka, began working as a professional runway model. Her years on the runway taught V-Muka the fundamentals of the fashion industry. VFashions products and Photography was created in 2011. With more than 15 years experience in the world’s fashion capital in NYC, VFashions Photography was specifically created by V-MUKA to make ”you” into a Fashion Star, For those of you who are passionate about fashion, your life will be forever changed at VFashions. Our Mission at VFASHIONS Products is to weave lasting pieces by providing the skills needed to create economic opportunities for the men and women, one person, one family, one village at a time. Yes....YOUR telling your self Oh no not me ,. This will never happen to me. So V.MUKA has made it JOB that every VFASHIONS products sold 10% will go directly to THAT child who is A Victim . Victimized children by Domestic Violence is living proof that there the one's who suffers most and now it's A EPIDEMIC. A NATION SUFFERS DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, We as COMMUNITY SUFFERS most and is guaranteed to affect each and every one of Us at some point in our lives. indirectly or directly, like A winter storm, So our tomorrow, our Future , our joy, our lives will be slowly be gone. Together let's BREAK THE SILENCE. Living proof of is V-MUKA. go See for your self. at www.VMUKA.com. V- Muka says ” Fashion “is one of those artistic representations that hold great significance because you live your life in it. Whether you realize it or not, fashion is essential to your lifestyle because you need clothes that make you look your best at all times. FOR Boys and Girls fashion needs and SELF ESTEEM Uplifting go to www.VFASHIONSkids.com FOR Men and Women fashion needs www.VFASHIONSnyc.com To whom it may concern: Hello! My name is Ms. V. Muka. I am from Rwanda Africa and a public speaker and model who motivates and inspires all types of groups especially children with over 19 years of experience, in New York City, Massachusetts, and Africa. I would like to make you aware of my background and life’s experiences. I was born premature in many ways i shouldn’t be alive but by grace of god i am Alive. I was born in refugee camp in Africa in a family of 14 children. I had 8 sisters and 5 brothers. I am a survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide that occurred in my country . People characterize me as a strong, driven person who is a role model for youth. Perseverance, self-confidence and teamwork were all characteristics developed from normal life in a large family. I have been re born by my life’s experiences and the wisdom comes from my ancestors. I have done many things to promote the causes of abused women and children worldwide as victim of abuse myself. I survived the domestic violence that is epidemic nationwide today and I survived the drugs in the fashion industry. In 1994, I moved to the United States and became a fashion, runway model in New York City. My fashion agency, VFASHIONS Models, was founded in 2000. I became the first African woman to own and operate a high fashion modeling agency in U.S. history. while raising child by myself I have learned how to deal with adversity and to remain positive. I believe that “when you have a positive mindset, you cannot be defeated.” I also believe that “whatever comes your way, you must shake it off and move forward.” I would like to come and speak to your group (possibly 10- 30 minutes) to motivate them to be positive, to persevere, to stay strong and to overcome adversity in their life. I am willing to negotiate with you a fee to cover my speaking engagement, my plane flights, my hotel and transportation. I would also be willing to do some volunteer work for your group in the community as soon as possible. You can reach me by phone at (214) 924-9669 or by email at VMUKA@gmail.com www.VMUKA.com www.VFASHIONSkids.com VFASHIONSkids@gmail.com. My references are available on request. Thank you for your kind attention. With best wishes, V. Muka, C/E/O/ and Founder of VFASHIONS inc.

If you know how to fish then you need to learn how to make profit from what you're catching. AND THEN, eventually, you'll have made an empire(maybe a little lake and a river after that) from "fishing" that you won't need the pond, you'll have an ocean. 😉

Steve, your definition of "self made man" is misconstrued. Of course every "self made man" engages others for help along the way. Who says he doesn't. A self made man is simply someone who plots a course for ones' life, pursues it, and then achieves it. Often times it REQUIRES relationship building and making the right connections. It's the self made man who makes the conscious effort to ask others for help, and to be willing to change course to achieve his goals. Hard work alone does not make a self made man. Working smart and with the right people on a "consious" level makes you a self made man. In summary "self made man" does not mean that he does not engage others for help, but it means that he plots a course and takes whatever measure/course to achieve that goal. Consciously building relationships and asking for help along the way is one of the major ingredients that define a self made man. It means quitting a dead end job because it's not leading you to your goal, no matter how hard you are working in that job. It means continuously positioning yourself with the right people in the right situations to get you to your goal. The "self made" is simply the approach you take to achieve your goal, and not let others discourage you from achieving your goals. Being head strong on accomplishing your goal. Avoiding and shaking the negative naysayers while embracing the positive people who will help you along the way. Self made does NOT mean that you never ask people for help. Self made means that you consciously commit to becoming a success, and jump over every speed bump along the way. It means consciously aligning yourself with other successful people along the way that can help you along the way, while ridding yourself of the negative people and things that hold you back. It means constantly asking yourself if that person you are dealing with is going to help you achieve your goal or hold you back. It means having the courage to dump those people who are holding you back, while embracing those people who will help you achieve your goal It means having the courage to leave a relationship that is dragging your down, and finding a relationship that is going to build you up.That's the definition of a self made man.
