This movie inspired me. I might not even go into the military. But the last words of the movie have a strong message. I guess its too bad that I found the Tecumseh poem through a movie and not in my own researches. But the way it was said, and the context of it, literally changed my life. I was always looking for meaning in life and what my purpose is. "Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people.". I will not die with regrets. I will live my life in such a way that I can change the world for the better and I WILL do just that. I really dont give a shit what some people think about me getting advice from a movie/poem, but it changed my life and I will sacrifice everything, whether it be comfort or love so that I can serve society in an important way. I dont care about day to day happiness, or whats happening right this moment, I only care about making a positive impact on the world. So yeah, call this movie propaganda and all that shit, I dont buy it. It was a message to all people from all walks of life to sacrifice something for your people, and to not be motivated by materialistic greed and power.

call of duty is propaganda. the US government gives money to people who portray the military in a positive light. if you watched the transformer movies, you might have noticed military characters, many films that include the military actually get support because the military sees the value in supporting it. here is a little insight, anything that is a large budget project has some amount of propaganda behind it. the price on the thoughts in your head is high, and there are many people willing to pay the price to influence your thoughts. one other interesting thing, video games and movies have to pay the gun manufacturers in order to include the firearms in there movies and games, with the contract the weapons developers require the gun to preform on a satisfactory level in the games. when you buy call of duty you are helping to fund the national arms market.

I saw this movie in theaters in 2012 or 2011 when I was 12. It was pretty epic. The scene I remember the most and I think it's the one that everyone remembers is when the dude dives onto the grenade to contain the blast and protect his conrad's. I hate to have seen him died but he risked it for the survival of his teammates.

I thought the movie was well done and it reminded me of how thankful I am for what all branches of our military do to protect us and our freedom. I have to believe that most people who have never been in or closely exposed to the military have a clue what combat is really like for our servicemen and women. If this is any representation of a special forces team in the US military, they are bad ass. Unfortunately, they are also at great risk since they can be sent on very dangerous missions. The military is just doing their jobs and don't choose the conflicts we get into. Anyone who "dogs" them can go to hell as far as I'm concerned. Don't judge a man unless you've walked in their shoes. Showing a woman crying hysterically, etc. is just one reality of military deployment!

I think many of the USA's military personel are brave. I am not from the USA. I was blessed to spend time with 22 US mariens in east Africa for 4 years. Some of the greatest people I have met. I dont always agree with how the US uses thier power. Beleive me, I can't always agree with how my own country, Canada, does things. Sadly, I hate to see "realistic" movies glorify war. Don't get me wrong, I love many war movies. Solders stories should be told to honour them, not for PR and as a recruitment tool. It is easy to see the difference between movies that tell a story so that we understand, and movies that try and build public support. I call it the "America, F@#* Ya!!" factor.

In a real operation, there is no second take and hence there is no acting involved, see a soldier can perform what an actor can, but in reality an actor can never replace a soldier.
