Just a tip Tru3 Next time you got the toxic one on the hook just take a few steps back and go for the lunge 360 hookslap. The "memorize when they get the struggle skillcheck and hit them the moment it happens so they fail it" is a classic too. Is this the rise of the fabled killer hook techs??

It doesn't force them to fail it or anything like that but if you know the timing and hit them their scream sound will play at the same time as the skillcheck sound which can throw them off. Noticed it when I viewed myself hitting a streamer once and it made them miss. Ever since then I do it every so often and while it doesn't work all the time it does still work

I wish they had never nerfed Spirit's invisible state, I get it's annoying for surivors to not be able to have an indicator but it's not a killers fault if you don't respect the power. I had a Dwight who legit was working on a gen yesterday as I downed a person right next too him and so I walked over and downed him too cause he didn't respect my presence and it cost his team the game cause I had slugged 2 other people at this point already and the 3rd was dead. first slug was a DS slug and the second down was the one I was after and the first thought I'd be dumb and melee him when his free perk was active

I remember when tru3 did the Otz stand still challenge and claimed he doesn't tunnel or camp, and that's why he had bad results doing that challenge, then a few months later claimed he'd start playing more chill and play for chases instead of to win, what happened to that?

Pretty much what john said. In high mmr, you need to reduce the survivor count down to three asap otherwise the survivors will just steamroll you. They are simply too efficient and they are often chased for a long time before they go down. This is much the reason why I will never aspire to high mmr. It's just too stressful and you pretty much get stuck with having to tunnel and camp as the only real way to apply pressure to this crazy level of efficient survivors. I just don't find any fun playing like that but you have to if you want to get a decent crack at winning.

Honestly it's more entertaining to me watching him play the meta. Why do so many people want to watch killers gimp themselves? All the games are basically the same when that happens. Also "playing nice" stops people from improving at the game. Everyone who I know that plays nice, ends up whining about the game being unfun.

Why do so many killers tunnel tho? Like in 8/10 matches they tunnel the single person out, even if I purposely take hits for them…they don’t chase me and I’m just standing there injured. When a killer does that to a random, I become toxic asf because it’s like dude I know how it feels, especially in solo que so any killer doing that deserves a tbag and toxicity in game. They say tunneling isn’t toxic, it’s a strategy.. well neither is tbagging. It’s just a strategy to get into the killers head in that case. Personally I don’t care if I get tunneled anymore. Too many matches on solo que, why stress when you can play SWF and just win most matches. That’s how bad solo que is right now. Not saying this specifically to you Tru3, just in general of the new patch.

I suppose in a sense it is quite toxic just focusing on the one but in hindsight at higher ranks, the perception of tunneling is quite simply just reducing the number of survivors as quickly as possible to hinder their progress. Plus there'll be less priorities. Regardless, it's DBD😂

You tunnel or you lose Welcome to the MMR system If you go for 12 hooks at max MMR you get maybe 4 or 5 hooks then get teabaggged at the exit gate ggez just pressure gens bro Killers don't have the luxury of assuming chill games because a single mistake like eating a DH can lead to a complete loss, and if you try 12 hooking at max MMR you'll quickly find out your mistake is always not playing as efficiently ruthless as possible from the start

used dead hard against a camping Pin Head. used it to get people off hooks a couple of times and found a spot he couldn't get us to hooks in time. Also as Kilelr, run Star Struck now cause tired of people body blocking. They learn to regret body blocking me pretty quick. Granted only 2 killers I have anything built on are Nemesis and Trickster. My 4 killer perks are corrupt (considering using save best for last in it's place), Star Struck, No Way Out and Scourge Hooks: Pain. Corrupt works fine as a temporary slow down and gives me a general idea where they spawn but I can use the same logic without the blocked gens and have Save Best For Last instead since the killers I use both have alternative means of downing people. I might just interchange that perk depending on the killer as Save Best For Last is nice for killers like Nemesis and Trickster and can get away with not M1 the obsession but it also kinda funnels them into not using their abilities to build stacks at the same time.

The clicky Nea.. Seemed like a mouse wheel bind based on the sound and so forth. .. As mentioned several times before there is a difference in how a macro works vs using mouse wheel ( I keep wanting to say mwheel instead due to how things can be bound to keys via console in games lol. ) Still is a thing that does not make sense to do in this game. Since other to be annoying, there is nothing at all that a macro like that would help with in this game. I mean you could do that with Hag's teleport but as soon as survivors know what you are doing they can use that to their advantage and screw the Hag player over. Its a lot better to work on your speed for when it pops up.. Accurate and speedy teleports matter more than spamming it.

Tunneling isn’t toxic in itself. Is an effective (albeit unpopular) play style that killers are forced to do. There were already three gens done when he killed the Jake. So don’t praise the Nea for being toxic because of a justified play style.

I know that its not fun to die very fast in game, but when im playing, i won't give free ticket to escape trial, im playing how i want, if they can end my game fast with gen rush, i will end fast their game too. Killing survivors is my objective as a killer, anyway always, don't matter if im normal playing killer or tunneing a bit. Always survivors tbags at exit gates lol

Tru3 I understand your gameplay and as a legacy hillbilly main myself, I pretty much know that its how the game is designed but seriously man, I have been following you for years and I'm a player whos been playing since the release back in 2016. I liked your gamestyle because it was fun to watch. Unlike other streamers, you showed the real action. Now maybe out of frustration, maybe you got fed up with the toxic community but the way you play is not fun to watch at all. I liked how you played back then, you didn't tunnel or camp someone except for very rare occasions. Right now you play like your life depends on how quick you kill the first guy you catch. I don't know if you are gonna see my comment but please get back to old Tru3 who was way more entertaining to watch. I, we know you are aware of how busted the game is and you are very good at the game. But the way you play nowadays is just so boring. I am not saying let everyone escape. Give toxic people their own medicine, facecamp them with insidious bubba but except for that just play for chases. Its so much fun to watch.

Killers are supposed to kill, so if they tunnel it's in order to win, no one likes it happening, but if it's winning vs losing then you can't blame them for winning. Instead of nerfing killers let's make tunneling a weak tactic and make killers more efficient in chase. This patch started it but more is needed. Also macros always deserve the hook.

If it bothers survivors this much, just stop playing and find another game. This update has already caused an almost 18% drop in players since it came out. Stop playing; let killers enjoy sitting waiting 10+ minutes for a match that’s over in 5 minutes. They will have to do something if this trend continues. Eruption's a great perk, stalls the gens being worked on (If they don't let go) and regresses it. Not to mention the other 2 stack regression when kicked. If that Jake was allowed to live, the gens would be done in less than two minutes. No one is saying that tunneling is good, but it’s necessary against efficient teams. When the Jake died and True went around kicking gens, they slowed to nothing because he was getting value out of the perks. Sure the Jake could have stayed injured and hopped on a gen, but when you go around patrolling gens to kick to find a survivor, he's an easy down and you get Eruption value. To say tunnelling is a killers only option isn't a good outlook. It's easier - requires less skill to down an injured guy than a fully healed guy, camping is easy because you're standing still not having to do well in a chase. If you are happy to do that then fair enough, but I don't see the point in getting upset at someone being annoying to you when you just were to someone else. I get you are a fan and defending people jumping on True, that's cool of you and i see it a lot. But the thing with a lot of True fans is they seem to think it absolutely horrendous when people suggest he made some mistakes. Like not utilising the perks he's gone into a match with. Saying gens go to fast when he has perks to help alleviate that but didn't use them. I also just realised, within 5 minutes 30 seconds they got 3 gens done. That's one guy doing three 90 second gens themselves. Imagine if all three were powering through with gens during this time without True pushing them off and using his perks. Likely this was the case with how fast they kept unhooking Jake.
