I was using an addon which made my shocks fire VERY far, which was good for gen pressure but not as good for chase. Would o been interesting using a more anti loop addon for quicker chases, however the gen pressure would have been much less and gens could have gone a lot faster, I did slow the gens quite a lot through shocks. Either or, I think we were screwed no matter what.

@@cameronhutton2811 Theres a new one I've noticed as well. When you kill a survivor on hook, you can still hear their groans of pain after they're dead. Which can be extremely fucking distracting, especially if theres more than one of the same survivor in game.

I played a total of 6 hours during the mmr test and I've never been that tired from having to tryhard as killer 😂 Every single game was a non stop sweaty struggle against people who knew exactly what to do when and where. Was definitely a fun day of dbd but man I don't want this mmr all the time, way too exhausting and que times were over 5 minutes every time

@Mr Popo that’s the problem. If they do that, one or both queues will suffer. Forcing everyone to play in the one mode dbd has STILL takes this long. Adding 2+ modes will just make it infinitely longer. And then you’ll have sweaty competitives playing casual busting on newbies who just want to enjoy the game, and newbies wearing down people trying to win on competitive. They have dug themselves into a hole they don’t know how to get out of

It's like this all the time in solo queue. Solo survivor is significantly more difficult than killer will ever be. Some killer mains are now getting a taste of that and realizing they aren't as good as they thought they were. They are facing opposition that is trying as hard as them instead of getting easy games vs solo queues.

Brutal match. They kind of lose respect as players since they had the offering for an easier surv map (which is why reworks > new maps). But damn you cannot make ANY mistakes as killer at times like these. This is why I keep myself green to purple ranks. Could I try for red, yeah, but I don't want to have games like this. I want to improve but chasing people for too long for few hits and gens popping 60 seconds apart I just can't leave even with the sense of having learned something.

They refused to nerf OoO because it had a low escape rate, they said they wanted to buff Knock Out but they nerfed it in the same patch, they said Hillbilly was the most balanced killer in the game and then they nerfed him, it took them years to nerf moris and they still have done nothing to address keys... some people definitely need to be fired.

MMR would ruin DBD in general, once you have reached certain point you will only start to see Nurse and Spirit as a survivor and the sweaty matchs as a killer would be more frequent resulting on people getting tired of it and leaving the game

i think as "unbalanced" as it can seem sometimes without mmr, this game would undoubtedly be more fun without it because you're not constantly getting sweaty players from either side and have those different levels of difficulty in different matches will keep it interesting. if it always feels the same, it'd feel exhausting. not to mention the high queue times ruining your experience anyway.

At high level absolutely for both sides, you get a harder time as killer and you are forced to 3 gen and slug every game. As survivor you'll only play against spirit and nurse, and most of the time you won't get enough challenge than nowadays.

As killer with this new mmr, im playing against sweaty people who seem to enjoy a tbag, clicky flashlight, anything they can do to 'troll' but, they know how to loop decent I end up killing them, and the end game chat is them being toxic and salty. Their ranks are 16, and im like no way are they rank 16. I check their profiles, and they all have like 1k-2k hours play. So I'm playing against alot of toxic survs who try to derank and bully new killers. So the only good thing mmr does is fix the c***s who derank to bully.

Either they need to buff most killers to make them viable for high mmr or you are only gonna see spirit and nurse at those levels. The ideal situation would be to just not use mmr rating, because this test still proves that it doesn't work. Check Dowsey's channel for example, 2 hours to find a game as the twins and he got against a competitive squad and literally couldn't win.

It's not a surprise dowsey took 2 hours to find a game... He had 895 kills and 1 escape with the twins. What's the point in him even playing against any less of a team; as his stats show- there is none! 1 escape from 895?! Also he had 0 chance on that game cuz as he said the guys he went up against were in his chat even so kitted themselves for a game against the twins. So he had even less chance to win! Unfortunately.... The top 1% of dbd are going to hate the MMR but for everyone else MMR isn't bad at all! It actually gives you a chance to learn, make some plays and actually have fun on both sides!

On the day of the MMR I faced the same 4 man SWF in that single day. All had DS/Unbreakable and brought a Farm map both games. This is exactly what high MMR is gonna look like. 1 match I only got 2 hooks before all gens popped.. I main Oni btw which was my high MMR.

It is really dumb how poorly Doctor's power works. Unfortunately as soon as they get the prompt and hit the key your power will not stop them. You know how items disappear from a survivor's hand as they go to do an animation? That is the moment where shocking them will no longer stop the action because they are vacuuming to the object, even though you clearly can get them before they even touch it.

Doctor's shock is generally so poorly designed. Unless the survs are potatoes you're better off just playing M1 with no power, the risk to reward ratio is far too bad because of that slowdown.

New ranking system, same shit overall for me. I got more spirits as survivor than usual, but overall against all killers, my teams would still go down very fast, kill themselves on hook, etc. And my killer games were against good solos and SWFs. So nothings changed, just going against more sweaty survivors than before.

Really don't know if it's worth saying this, but i'll try. For the first time i actually tried to read the comments and is very sad to see how many of them are just a copy-paste of the same structure over and over and over again. It seems like most comments are just complains about his "complains", from people who don't seems to realize he can get pissed off by the game, as anyone does about something really. So for instance i really really hate when i play dbd and the killer tunnels me, in the sense that as soon as i get saved he immediately starts chasing me again and doesn't care about the other survivors (seems like i need to specify what i consider tunneling), but that doesn't prevent me to still like the game and still play, and maybe after 1 or two minutes i forget about what happened and it's all good. What most of people in this comment section seems to think, is that this doesn't also apply to Tru3: he gets pissed off by something he can't do anything about (maybe just irritated in general, anyone is free to feel how he/she wants), but that doesn't mean that's his personality or some bullshit like that, wtf? do you even realize what are you talking about? I'd say you need to have a huge ego to judge a person, or think you understand everything about them or just that you understand more about them the what they do, just on something like a stream or a yt video. Also, again, if you complain about someone complaining or such, you are in the same level of them in that matter. The last thing i would like to say is that i just started playing the game again after my first few hours i did 2 years ago and i'm really improving a lot from both prospective just by watching his videos and listening to what he says, i find it very helpful to have someone that analyzes what happens in a game play by play or just points out thing that are very important. So the thing you consider complains in most cases are very important for me and i guess many others that are still learning. At this point you can't really say he is not a very good player regardless of what you think about his commentary, so if you don't like him, go what something else, lol.

I'm just saying that if he had a bad game and he feels maybe irritated by something, in this case the feeling of being unable to do anything to win because of the unbalance of the game, you shouldn't act as if he was complaining all game every game and that's all his content. Obviously when he says "If you verse me PLEASE don't choose an easy map for you", you can see that he is irritated and he doesn't like the fact that, not only he is in an unbalance position, but they make it even more difficult by choosing the map. And i'd say in that position, knowing that everything is going to be like that all day, is kinda normal to complain about the map. I'm not saying that the only thing he said, but that the example of a real complain. If he just says something like "Now those two gens are going to be done", "Dead hard? Yep, obviously your're high mmr so you use that super strong perk" and things like that, he is not complaining, he is thinking out loud and pointing out things that make people realize how well he understands the situation, but still can't do nothing about it.

There are people with competitive mindsets, and i think there shouldn't be any hates for them just because they like winning and, when they don't, sometimes they'll express the frustration of not neing able to do anything about it in a game like this. Yesterday, my 5th game as clown (i used it before, but on ps4, now i moved on pc) was against a 4 man SWF (all red ranks, I'm rank 8). They destroyed me (yea I'm a noob on pc, and they were hella sweaty). This isn't fun anymore, i can only play at night bc of work and college, and always get sweaty teams. I don't want to compete, life is already a competition ffs, i just wanna escape real world for few hours. I really like this game, I also spent much money and time on it. I understand that maps can be annoying for both sides but I just don’t get why it’s ok for a killer to pick a killer sided map with a build built for that map, but when a survivor does it it’s not acceptable. And now it’s not fair because one perk is rendered useless from a hex totem getting cleansed. But when a killer brings strider, and iron will is canceled out it’s not a problem. This is why I sympathize more with survivors.

Stridor doesn't cancel out Iron Will, they cancel each other out; A Killer who's running Stridor, whilst being able to hear the Iron Will guy, will think he's further away than he is, because he's quieter than the Survivors without it. It's just tug of war over hearing distance numbers. Meanwhile, when a Hex gets cleansed, that's it, it's actually gone. No more use, nothing. It's now an empty perk slot. As far as the map thing: Since the re-release of the Gideon Pallet-Packing Plant, there's only really one map that anyone would call Killer-sided, and that's Hawkins. But Hawkins, due to it being in a building and having short lines of sight, is only good for Killer builds that are based off of aura-reading and sometimes stealth (i.e. Scratched-Mirror Myers, Bloody-Glove Oni, Amanda's-Letter Pig), which all give up basically their whole power for those auras and become M1 Killers that are just as weak in chase on that map as any other.

@@NotHypnoEmpire hawkins, glenvale, sheltered woods, crotus pen asylum(clown map variation) , midwitch(terrible for both sides) lerys( some strong loops but the fact you can't find gens half the time and the maps hard to memorize gives the killer an advantage. Most indoor maps are killer sided besides reworked game. There's one autohaven variant that's easy to set up for a 3 gen as killer but I forgot the name of it.

addressing the mmr is a misleading i think. The real problem is that the game is unbalanced at high levels not that the high level players have matches with other high level players. I know that leave the mmr as it is now is the easiest thing to do. If you don't you have to mess with gen speed, unbalanced maps, killers who work at high levels (just spirit and nurse) and who don't. But they should cause there's no other solution. If they keep the actual mmr top killers as tru3 will always win quite easily (i don't remember he loses a game for a while), if they use the new mmr system top killers are forced to use always spirit or nurse to have a chance to win. I tell you what: devs must start to listen to suggestions that people as tru3 or scott jund give to balance the game and start to work for it. Otherwise we will always discuss on the same topics (mmr, swf, solo queue, gen speed, etc)

Dude if you get a 4k as killer 90% of survivors are gonna tell you your trash and to get better, if all 4 of them escape your trash and a baby killer, don’t worry about the other sides opinion of you, as killer it’s your job to kill people not hold the survivors hands and make sure they get a gold star and have a good time, if any thing it’s your job to make sure the survivors don’t have fun right? So as survivors it’s obviously your job to do gens and escape as quick as possible, as survivors if you gen rush then your a sweaty team but if you 99 the last 3 gens and Max your boldness your a bully, the other side is never gonna be happy that you won, the only situation I think is completely bogus is when your destroying a good SWF kill 1-2 of them and as soon as they can survivors just escape thru hatch, it’s worked in my favor and worked against me, hatch and key Is a completely broken mechanic so that even after survivors have completely failed their first objective they still have a redeeming chance to win, I’ve heard people call it a lose win mechanic they have in many party games so both sides can feel like they won when in reality it makes killer feel like a waste of time and the escape doesn’t feel authentic

Cant look at streamers and pro players when talking about the welfare of the game. They are a category all onto themselves and are such a small portion of the player base as to be statistically insignificant. For the regular people I think killers should each have their own rank system. Being rank 1 with Freddy will not help you as Billy or clown starting off. Not to the extent that you should get the same survivors for both killers. Makes no sense.
