Didnt even know this figure existed. For someone like me, a casual collector and a fan of Digimon, this series has been amazing, not only to learn about these figures, but to understand how an actual collector judges figures, and what makes them good or bad. After watching this I feel more cualified to judge any specific piece of my own collection. Looking forward for your next multi part series!

I wish they would do a re-release of this figure that fixes up the issues. Gallantmon is, and will continue to be, my favorite Digimon, even amongst all of the Royal Knights. I would definitely buy a re-release if Bandai ever made one.

Glad I watched this to see everything this is supposed to include. I've been eyeing up a Chaos version on Mercari for a while now as the seller keeps lowering the price, and this made me realize that the figure I've been looking at is missing the armor for the head and back of the waist. For $130US I am not gonna buy an incomplete figure.

Congrats on finishing this project, Actar. As a fan of Dukemon/Gallantmon and Tamers in general, I greatly enjoyed the ride. Now, I don't own the american Guilmon to Gallantmon figure so I don't know if it would work, but you can kinda make the base Gallantmon mode more accurate using the accessories of the japanese Gallantmon figure. While there's nowhere to peg it, with some patience you can get the cape to stay on top of the back armor. And if you rotate the forearm and make his fingers point upwards, you can fit the lance and the shield on his hands and let gravity work it's magic. It's not perfect, but it looks much better IMO.

I still remember missing out on this Gallantmon back in my childhood because I had to choose between him and Cherubimon's figure. While I'm still happy with Cherubimon, I sometimes wonder how Gallantmon Crimson Mode would have fit into my collection.

We’ve reached that time again where you have finished a series and what a way to book end it, personally I think the wings could have been solid plastic and 2 pieces or painted, half red and half white which using the joints would allow the front to have white wings or a red cape in the modes and the sword could possible have works by being hidden within the lance mode and popping out once split though either it would need to be short or be able to extend to fit or the lance be able to compress itself unless one is okay with an overly long Gungnir (I think that’s what you said the weapon was called)

Huh, I had always known a Gallantmon to Crimson Mode figure existed, but somehow I never realized it wasn't actually a transformer, but just had armor pieces. It was really awesome seeing most of these figures for the first time! Out of the line, I only ever owned Guilmon/Gallantmon and Kyubimon/Taomon (with chrome tails). Any chance we'll be seeing that horrible Silphymon three-changer reviewed in the future? :p
