in my opinion the US version is better as display and for playing with the japanese version feels way to brittle.

Growing up this was one of my favorite Digimon figures, too bad it broke a couple years after I got it but I still enjoy the time I had with it. I'll definitely need to track down another one!

I love my US Rapidmon. I even bought it twice over getting the JP version. This figure does what I want it to do. I love that he has a visible face. It's accurate and gives you two ways to display. :]

US version is a great display for Rapidmon who is my favorite Digimon. Side by side comparison, the JP one looked really off putting.

Oh yeah, US commonly uses concepts instead of actual finished products. See: Transformers.

Technically in Transformers they base the models and stuff on the toys (at least used to) and so on so forth to today

Has anyone every heard, or play the Digimon Story series? Well, in the original Digimon Story, much like Pokemon, you're given the choice to pick one of three Digimon. Those being Palmon, Hagurumon and Terriermon. Me, when I first played it, I picked Terriermon, mainly because I was a huge fan on the Tamers series.

er... the original digimon story was digimon world ds and the second digimon world dawn and dusk in fact cybersleuth is the fith installment in the digimon story series its just that digimon story 3 and 4 never got an english translation so uh...oh well honest mistake as the first two games were retitled world over here

Speaking of the only tamers digivolving figure that my little brother had... Really wish the UK had the golden varient though, I really wanted that one badly but I don't think they made it. If they did it wasn't very common where I lived. I'll also point out tamers was the last digimon series the uk had on tv for years. Frontier was literally skipped for some reason and data squad was shoved to a late timeslot for kids; as if they were ashamed of it. What's up with england and anime? XD

I love this guy. This is one figure I would happily let my future kids play with. I would love to get the Japanese version at some point. I find that the tips of ears tend to fall off.

At least the American version has the cheat strap for Gargomon. They didn't even sculpt it in on the Japanese version, which said strap is kind of an iconic thing for the design along with the gatling gun hands and stuff

I had this figure as a kid, along with Kyubimon and Growlmon. Not really understanding the term "kibble" back then, I used to pretend the Rapidmon arms on Gargomon's back was a jetpack.

The Japanese version of the figure is a lot more accurate to the way the character was in the show. I actually just watched Actar's review of that figure, and while I think it was very good, I was bothered by the lack of elbow joints
