When does the little boy in the man with SA grow up.? It seems like wives end up being a second mother to their own husbands! No smart woman wants that. She doesn't want to live like a mother to anyone except the kids. Any man that keeps doing this "acting" in behavior is messing with his own sobriety, the self esteem of his already betrayed wife's heart, and the recovery of the relationship. This sounds like a Lose-Lose Situation. One day, guys, your wife really will leave you alone...For Good!

Isn't all that you are talking about, Tu, is between the husband and the wife and God. We have all junk to sort through. Every knee bows and every tongue confesses. We are all learning to grow in our spiritual walk.

All the experts say, he’s acting like a teenager because emotionally he still is. Whatever the trauma was that brought him into being a SA happened when he was a child/teenager and that’s when growing stopped. As wives we can not heal them, but we try until we figure out the bigger picture that the reality is that women do not make men, men make men, period. This issue needs serious counseling’s sex addiction is not just between each other and God, that’s why God made doctors! Get help, get into a support group and let go and let God.

Did he not realize how he said it and how we heard it? All the things we do. It seems he didn’t realize it even when you restated it.
