See, what's REALLY funny about this is that it's not only a parody of Michael, but a parody of a specific program he did called "Michael Caine on Acting", which was indeed a master class with Caine. If you can find it, you'll see how good this actually is.

Luckily it's on here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIuzfYl6rKqlbbs I first heard about this on Howard Stern who did a full 20-30 minutes on it back in the 90s and it led to me actually renting the video so I could see it for myself.

I LOVE and find it very amusing, in the video side bar, there are LOTS of REAL Michael Caine acting classes videos?!?" And the weird thing? Peter Serafinowicz has got Caine, as all his RECREATIONS, spot on to the point that dear wonderful Jon Culshaw would tipping his hat. IT JUST OCCURRED TO ME Peter Serafinowicz, John Culshaw and Kevin Pollak (famous for his amazing Columbo and others) should do a special together? Or a series? David

I honestly thought that it was Michael Caine teaching a real class for the first few seconds or so before I figured out it was all a joke. I was looking for a clip on youtube where Michael Caine teaches a class of film acting and when I selected this clip I thought I found it. I was pleasantly surprised when the clip turned more and more hilarious.

Excellent impersonation. Nearly faultless, actually. But also a demonstration of how very few people are born with that elusive star quality that can never be replicated. The pure magnetism and charisma of Michael Caine's facial features, the electricity in his voice, his suave mannerisms, that keep the audience staring at him over anything else that's going on, on and off screen. This guy here though, although technically brilliant, has seemingly nothing behind his cold, blank stare. His facial language also remains nearly still. He couldn't pick up the intuitive Michael's micro gestures that make him so attractive and relatable. That's something you need to be born with.
