I am sitting here watching this video at. 7am, then you got to the cook part of the video. Aaron, I used to use Bonita for bait. Then we caned some, in olive oil. It is delicious. Way better than canned tuna for tuna salad. You boil it first with onion and garlic then pack it in olive oil, can it and let it sit for a few weeks. Pull it out and make tuna salad sandwiches.

I'm bringing a little Glasstream 1550 with an 83 75hp Johnson I got for $400 back to life. Motor is running and now I'm rewiring so maybe I'll get to wire that Simrad in. Another recipe I need to try 🤣 ! Looked awesome . Cast iron is the way to go . Had sautéed onions myself last night . Sautéed green beans are off the chain in the cast iron . Little olive oil , red pepper , garlic , kosher salt . Cook with a little burnt brown then steam with a little water for a crispy bite !!! Mmmm mmm. Love this beautiful water. I remember it like that on the Reef one time. We slayed the red Grouper that day. And huge flag yellow tails Henry and I love the show and we are your biggest fan. We watch on the big screen every Monday. Once we got caught up of course. We have seen everything that you have done. Trust me. How long can you actually hold your breath? We actually love your mango spearing in the mangroves of course. Shallow water. I like the way you can hide way back in there man. Very cool!!

Aaron, I've been glued to your channel for a while. I am not sure if you are aware of this, but the last several videos have had very low (volume) sound. We have to turn the volume way way way up to hear you. Then when the video ends or an add comes on, it's up so high it blows the speakers...... just thought that I should mention it.

Yep, you pronounced focaccia correctly. The way you got those mangrove snappers, especially the first one, demonstrated proper skill man. Taking the time not rushing the shot, unloading a band not to smash the shaft in the rocks AND getting the stone shot to top it all off. Last Sept, my husband and I went to Key Largo for our anniversary and came across some yellow jacks. At first, we did not know what they were so we looked it up on our fish rules app. We pulled a few in and oh my gosh…….some of THE BEST fish we have ever had. Going back down again in Oct and hope to get some more. If so, we are definitely going to try those sandwiches. Looked absolutely delicious!!!

Nothing like a KWW spear and sear! Great as usual... when you were talking about the water clarity, it reminded me of something. I've only ever been a visitor to Florida, but as a young boy, I was taken to Key Largo to snorkel for the first time with Captain Slate's. The water was crystal clear like that, and I just assumed the water was always that clear. It took my dad awhile to find me in the water because I was just head down taking it all in. In later years, the water was never quite as clear, and hearing you say this made me realize how lucky I was that day. One reason I'll never forget that day is because we snorkeled near the Christ of the Abyss statue, and all the times we went back, they never took us to that site. Thanks for stirring up those memories. Also, what a stone shot at 17:38!

I totally agree Jacks are an underrated species as table fare. I love their flavor and texture--much more like the "beef" of the sea! Once cooked, the filet firms up nicely and the flavor has just a hint of "gaminess" but is not fishy. The flesh takes to a wide variety of seasonings as well. Awesome on the grill! Smart move removing a band to bring down the gun's power while on the reef. Still plenty of power to take the snappers but possibly saved bending a shaft by minimizing shaft impact on the rocks.
