Good to see Action Henk getting its time to shine. An underrated game that I wish they’d bring to the switch

They actually tried it, but even with all of the background removed the Switch wasn't strong enough to push a stable 60fps. Admittedly, the game isn't the most optimized, and the publisher (Curve Digital), who was responsible for the console port, didn't want to invest the hours to optimize it to the point where it would've worked. But yeah, that's why it's on PS4 and XBone, but not on the Switch.

@@badBlackShark That definitely sounds like an optimization issue because visually this should be something the Switch should be able to handle no problem. It’s really unfortunate that the publisher decided not to try and spend the additional time to work on it because this would have been an absolutely perfect addition to the library.

Watching him speedrun all levels makes me want to rainbow all of the courses (I got gold on all of them). Doubt I'll remember the time I had, but still. So buttery smooth on a lot of sections.

This style of platforming/speedrunning is very reminiscent of the alpine sport, ski cross. Maximize speed on downhills, and try to minimize slowdown on rollers/ups-and-downs or obstacles.

He plays all the normal levels, no bonus levels or challenges

They play all of the normal levels that have rankings, not any of the challenge levels that are just bonus levels with no rankings.
