Excellent work, very laborious and thorough, impressive the amount of detail that can be achieved with the vehicles in those scales; however, it could have given a better finish to the main armament, it would have been easier to recreate the normal 76 mm tube of the CVR-T Scorpion, using metal or styrene tubes, more laborious would have been to recreate the RARDEN 30 mm or the 90mm cockerill, the same as the 76mm smoke guns; On the other hand, this replica of the CVR-T is in 1/7 or 1/8 scale, so the figures in 1/6 are oversized, but the work is very beautiful and detailed, thanks for sharing, congratulations ...!

Thank you for your kind informative comment. I nearly did as you said on the main gun. Wish I had now. At 1/6th scale its hard to source vehicles in the UK. Hence I use what I can get my hands on. Thank you again for taking the time to look mate.

All those additions look undeniably fantastic, but I must admit, I think you went a bit far with the 'sand'. Looked much better without it, IMO. And those figures, which I'm thinking must be significantly bigger than original Action Men, make it look about the same size as a regular car.

Ok thanks for prompt reply to my comment!! SOZ that I put SAS pinkie onto the CVRT SCORPION video!! TBT I'm a newbie to the internet and YT etc BUT very much impressed and heartened by replies i receive to my comments on varied YT clips /subjects NO I think your weathering techniques are OK ! THE SCORPION reminded me of a press photo I saw of a battlefield victim IRANIAN ARMRD RECCE SCORPION (of which there are NOT a vast amount of photos REF.!!? Mainly CHIEFTAIN MBT: T 69 MBT etc ) NO question FWD RECCE is hazardous duty !!! to which I would add couple of MOOT pts ; Minor or major structural damage to an AFV model (yer heat damaged MAIN 76 mm gun particularly USEFUL !!) AND AIR /GRND high VIZ RECOGNITION panels either tied down OR ground displayed!! THIS would be dependent on THREAT level other factors etc ( also on individual modeller tastes pref's ) I was told by another Military VETERAN that "Blue on Blue " friendly FIRE incidents poss ?? More common in Middle East /ISLAMIC forces than is gen. Known !! Indeed there is much photo content ref GULF WAR :OP GRANBY etc ALSO the initial GULF WAR HISTORICAL wise IRAN IRAQ WAR 1980 ! Ok moving on to SAS L /RVR GREAT build and GUTSY to even attempt ! My own model armies ( of which there are way too many LOL ) mainly 20mm but a BTLGRPS x2 size In 1/35 and 1-48 ish scales an SAS sabre sqn in 1/35 th main TAMIYA SAS Pinkies and some die cast conversions various RECCE OPS jeeps and LANDIEs !! I P up a nice DINKY recce conversion L RVR (OMANI desert ops !?) Nice SHAMAGH headress drvr fig and MG mount fitted ALSO larger scale diecast STRIP DOWN L RVR ( a conversion to a FFR CMD variant poss 32 SA RECCE AFRICAN MERC OPS) and a canvas tilt L RVR (poss another CMD variant project ?!) IVE NOT come across the AM land rover before SO it's very interesting THANKS I do have couple of jeeps and a nice 1-16 scale SAS Jeep HY MGs mounted ( collectible model : SAS NW EUROPE ww2 ) SO your build is VERY much useful!! A LIVING HISTORY event produced a photo article on a PARA FFR RECCE L RVR a year or 2 back (prompted much photo interest /articles etc) THIS vechile is a Conversion jobee ! Without need for major structural rebuilding etc ANOTHER alternative project YOUR MODELLING SKILLS are par excellence and I'm going to be looking at your channel today !(to get me through a boring gtehse duty at work LOL ) THANKS again cheers ANDY !!

While the AM Scorpion isn't quite to 1/6 scale, it isn't too far off. The M113 is bigger than the Scorpion, and the Stormer. I would go with an AM Tank, rather than the Scorpion for an M113 build.
