Here are a few shots I took on May 9, 1993 around the Grand Rapids area on the CSX main, and the Wyoming yards. Enjoy 10 minutes of the past!

The repair shop at Market stret is no longer used, where enigine 4236 is waiting outside the building.

I love the color and look of those old yellow and dark blue engines with that kitten, it brings back memories of being a kid and seeing those trains on the tracks, good times.

It is amazing how much difference ther is in the tracks and buildings around the tracks in 30 years. The only spot I recognized is the engines going under 131 at Wealthy street, and of course crossing the river which now has cross beams falling through into the river.

Wow, all your stuff is just Great !! Blows 95% of the new train videos out there away! I just love the Dirty C&O action, plus being on the bridge was great! And MLW, CP Alcos, very cool! Thanks so much for bringing back great memories! Man your good with a camera. Kev.

4:07 I was just at that crossing yesterday and someone said a train would come at 3 but it never showed

177, 178, 179 and 180 were all in Michigan at one point. They were in Owosso for work before going to the MMRR.

@DouglasP201 It was when C40-8W was very new in it's debut with american logo in the middle body and yeah it was putting it early 2000 or 2001

actually.. that unit was enroute to Canada at that point. it wasn't untill after 200 that those GP9's showed up. and only the 179 and 180 made it here to michigan.
