At 7:45, I don’t understand - if your read is that he has nothing, what does raising accomplish? do you think he would 3bet you with a bluff there? Or are you thinking about turning your A into a bluff to get him off a chop? i wouldn’t expect him to be betting a J here (but who knows…), so it’s not like he should have a worse hand that can call.

This. A raise here gets worse hands to fold and better to call. You got the max by inducing the bluff and calling it. Raising will only make you lose more when he calls there.

I disagree about raising when you think your opponent is bluffing. You're not getting action from anything that doesn’t have you beat. The call is always the play there pretty much 100% of the time.
