Buddha himself was an accomplished warrior able to beat the best warriors from all over the country. This part of his life is not widely known but his Sakya warrior clan claimed Siddhatha's body at his death and nobody argued.

The Kshatriyas constituted the warrior clan, the kings, rulers of territories, administrators, etc. It was paramount for a Kshatriya to learn weaponry, warfare, penance, austerity, administration, moral conduct, justice, and ruling. As Buddha, he ended up battling against the mightiest army ever assembled against him. He used his power of mind against them because he was nearly the Buddha and could not, would not kill people. He who conquers others is strong; He who conquers himself is mighty.🙏✌🏻
