Rhode Island School Of Design has a museum that is worth a visit. I have fond memories of visiting RISD campus , during the 4 years that my son was a student.

You do an excellent job! Great commentary, appreciated by a native Rho Dilandah! 😊 My grandfather, first generation Irish American, graduated from Brown University with highest honors and I attended classes at RISD. Love the East Side.

@@ActionKid A walk down Benefit Street to see RISD would be great. Carr House on the corner of Waterman St holds the nature lab, nearby the RISD museum. The Providence Athenæum is at 251 Benefit, and on the corner of Benefit and Planet St you'll find Edgar Allen Poe's house. RISD has always been rated #1 or #2 Best Art Schools in the US. I was surprised you skipped it except for a short mention of a building on your walk through downtown and the river. Hope you check it out.

Thanks for another video from Providence Road Island. Both College Hill and Brown University are beautiful. Even dare say better kept than Harvard and it’s college area. It has a beautiful suburban feel to it but It’s still a bit quiet and not many people are there. However it’s somewhat more populated than the area you were in in the last video. Hopefully things will get better once the pandemic is behind all of us. Thank you again for your hard work and thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us. Stay safe and have a good weekend

Since I used to be a "College Tour Guide" for both Fordham and Lehman in THE BRONX, I think that the alumni would appriciate "Action Kid" making an appointment ahead of time in order to join a personalized college tour.

As a fan of H.P.Lovecraft, it's really nice to see his hometown on this walk.

I was just there today and I too am also a fan of Lovecraft. I wanted to walk to his grave from the commuter rail station but I didn't have time. I actually live in Massachusetts in what's known as Lovecraft Country believe it or not. I live in Manchester by the Sea which is on the north shore of Boston. Lovecraft loved the area and it's in most of his works. But yeah Providence was great just wish I had more time there. I plan on going back in the fall.

If you ever come back to RI go to Indian Point Park, Cliff Walk in Newport, Rocky Point Park, Colt State Park in Bristol, RISD Museum, Tour the State House, Block Island, East Providence Bike Path, Crescent Park Carousel, Roger Williams Zoo during night event or regular, Providence Athenaeum, Norman Bird Sanctuary, Wicked Tulips Flower Farm, the vineyards and brewery. We have a lot of history 😂

Nice tour. This is the best time of year to visit. If I would have known you were in town I would have liked to go down to meet you and showed you some points of interest. Just a bit of local knowledge though: you do pronounce the h in Thayer, it's the r's we don't pronounce.

Our streets are this clean even precovid. It gets messy during festivals, events, outdoor market ect for a bit then gets cleaned up again.

Kids will never need to 'go to school' again. The internet will close this university. It will exist on the Internet and be just another school.
