Tom is a very good narrator. I Like the way you both make the public want to know more about the beautiful city that New York is. It is not just buildings, streets, parks, or concrete; there is also a story. Great job and congratulations

I wish I would have known all that this past august when I walked by those hotels on 5th ave on my way into central park. I even walked right by the Apple store as it was under construction. Thanks for this. Had to cancel my vacation to NY this year. So sad.

If you can imagine, the corporation my father used to work for kept a four room suite at the Essex House for out of town executives who needed a place to stay while they were in Manhattan. I can vouch for the deluxe treatment they used to have there. Good Times!

Tell the real story. Seneca Village was home to thousands of African Americans before it was taken away from them and transformed into Central Park
@oaktree16284 жыл бұрын
He didn’t mention that the horses used to be lined up on Central Park South, and not inside the park, until only recently. There’s a reason for this.
I was at that exact same spot last year, it was a little bit busier lol.

Was at the same spot 1 week earlier. Very fortunate to have stayed at the Essex House. Negotiated a room on the 14 floor / center with 3 windows all facing the park. Got some wonderful sunrise park photos - enlarged them and I have them hanging. The pictures in my home let me think I am still looking out at that view.

thanx for the video but next time you're with Tom or anyone else, could you please show less of his face and focus more on the buildings and the environment? Especially when he refers to a cetain street or building. Please make sure to catch a wider view when walking rather than just focusing on the straight street alone.
