I lost my job a week before closing and I was going to sell my house to move into another house, but now I can't buy the house. I notified the lender, realtor, and the buyer of my house, but the problem is the buyer is still wanting me to give my house over. I've offered to refund her for her time and expenses. I don't have anywhere to move my family into. Do you think I can explain this to her at closing? Can she kick me out of my home? A friend told me she might be able to take my house and sue for triple damages, is that a possibility?
