Hello! For After Effects, you will want a CPU with a high GHz value (3.0 and up), as much RAM as you can afford (16GB+), and then the least important item is the GPU. The GPU is important but not as important as the CPU and RAM. This is ONLY for a machine mainly used for After Effects. If you are doing a lot of video editing with programs like Premiere or Resolve then the GPU becomes a lot more important. Price for all of this obviously will vary. Hope this helps!
