The tutorial is solid and the effect looks good! If I would improve anything I would experiment cutting out a frame or two from your landing jump right before the impact to the ground to make the lnding feel more powerful. Now it looks like you’re fall is slowing down before hitting the ground

This is really nicely done but I’m just wondering why you didn’t utilise the rotoscoping tool when cutting the layer of yourself out? Since you’re moving then wouldn’t rotoscoping be the better option?

Thank you for this. I really appreciate you creating this tutorial. I don't have After Effects but was able to make it happen through Vegas Pro 17 based on your instructions. Here is my falling video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3-pgHina6lsa7s). There are flaws. But I'm new to motion tracking and masking. It was the best I could do with my experience level. I can't wait to make it better next time..
