2:27 Anyone know how Adobe populates that voices list? On Windows 10 forward, you only get 2 voices. These are the same voices in the Window Narrator, but you can download more M$ voices. Having done that you can select from additional voices in the Windows Narrator settings, but within Adobe it still only shows 2. How do you use the other voices?

This works great but Adobe should add another option to start reading from any place in the document. Currently, if you check "Read to end of document" it always starts at the beginning. For instance, if you are reading a book with 30-40 pages, you may have read the first 10 pages but want to stop reading until another time. Later, when you reload the pdf, you cannot start at page 11 and continue. It will always start from the beginning. The clunky work around is to delete the first 10 pages you have read and start from there.

Hello! Thank you for your question. You could certainly install additional readers (you can find more readers on the internet -- you might need to pay for them though). Once you've installed the readers, you could switch the voices by going to Edit --> Preferences --> Reading --> Uncheck the "Use default voice" box under the "Read Out Load Option" feature --> Select the voice of your choice using the drop-down menu within the "Voice" option. Hope this helps.

Good Evening Busy Bee. You'll need to run the OCR tool to recognize the text first. Then you could use the read aloud tool. Depending on the image quality, the text text recognition might not be accurate. You might need to do some editing.

Hi Venk, thank you for your comment. Venk, when you activate the adobe acrobat reader option and clicked on the area where you would like the reader to read the text to you, a square appears around the texts. May I ask if you have a square appear around a row of words or just one word? I find that some time deactivate the reader and reactivate it solves this issue.
