On the manometer where do you want your vacuum to be between? I've seen some as low as .5 and some as high as 2

Braden, the manometer is just a visual gauge to tell you that the radon fan is working. We see the levels range from 0.1" to 4.3". It just depends on the pressure the fan is designed to run at. There are many different radon fans. High suction fans will have a bigger difference on the manometer. Every home is different and there is not an ideal manometer reading. The company that installed your radon system should have marked the initial vacuum pressure on the label next to the U-tube. If this level changes drastically or reads zero, you should call for service.
