My apologies. It took me a moment to figure out what I clicked. It is the switching between sewing and embroidery mode -- refer to 4:30. Hoops can be changed only when not in embroidery mode.

Hi I bought in march a Pfaff Creative Performance. but like 1 month my top thread keep breaking. Im so mad I want to break this! I need help please :( I tried everything ! different needles, stabilizers etc. Please make more videos is really difficult to find Pfaff in KZbin

Check the thread path where it goes from the thread tension and into the needle. I found that the thread rubs against the plastic. On my machine the plastic became rough and a groove was created -- I ended up bending a piece of metal to enable a smooth ride over than area and that helped a great deal. Let me know if that does not work, and we can explore a few other areas as well. Also check the hook -- sometimes there can be a rough spot from needle strikes. I have emery cloth to polish any burrs on the hook, needle plate.

I went through this when I just started using mine. Make sure the thread spool is in horizontal position!!

I bought it used. I believe it is a 2006 model.

If the machine you buy has been regularly serviced, it should serve you well. The other nice thing is that anything you buy for it will work on newer models so you never lose out with buying hoops and feet.

Hi James I have a Creative vision machine from pfaff And i searching every where to find someone help because i have no dealer any more on my country So i found you and i hope that you can help me Recently when i tun on my machine it flashes all the buttons and i forced to shut down it. Have you moved the machine around recently? Do you have this problem with the embroidery unit attached to the machine or without? It is possible that something is loose inside the machine but that sounds worrying as if it might be an electronics issue. But if it suddenly started happening, the it is likely an electronics issue. If it is dusty where you are then a good cleaning inside the machine might help.

Have you found the solution yet? It is the power cord supply. You can take off the bottom of your machine and fish out the place where you attach the power supply and that will fix it. This happened to mine and several other people. I fixed it myself. for some reason the power supply starts to go into the sewing machine and it does not make a good connection. I hope you didn't give up like I almost did. I'm not too good at explaining all of the electrical terms but maybe James can explain better than me.
