@@ForrestKnutson Freaky warm went from -45 to +5c in 12hrs. +6 today. -45 is great for meditation cant do anything else. _40 is the same in Fahrenheit and celsius.

You have been my spiritual teacher with your love & wisdom. In one of my recent meditation, I saw myself being in space and I saw my body, starting from my feet to slowly disappear as golden dust particles, until it reached my hips. So half my body was gone, then when I put my attention in my trunk of my body, slowly the hip, chest and my hands too dissolved in to no-thingness, until only my head remained and when I surrendered completely the face too disintegrated as dust particles. Then there was only awareness. In that awareness around the space, I can feel myself in every fibre that was around me in that space. You taught us that the right brain is spatial and expansive. It’s your HRV technique and your tranquil breath which really helped me to go deeper within my sanctuary. So I give my utmost gratitude for guiding us all. In my today’s meditation I focused on you and sent you a lot of love. The spirit of God in me bows to the spirit of God in you. Thank you! Love you! ❤️🙏🏻🌟👁

With this longer exhale I experienced all that you were saying! Normally I get one or two out of the four proofs. But even after stopping the practice & writing this the whole body is still buzzing. The HHH, lip tingling all at the same time with in 5 breaths! Thanks for sharing

Tried it and first time actually noticed 1st + 2nd + 4th proof today because I knew what to 'look for'. Remarkable! About 5 minutes in to medit, hands feeling a little tingly at first then more and more leaden and warm. Didn't feel starved for breath any more. Felt 'silky' somehow. Noticed a sense of vulnerability yet knowing of security brought a kind of sweet sense of being in the vulnerability. To stay in the sweet vulnerable checked in to the truth "not knowing anyTHING" occasionally - Just knowing being. Easy, that. Slightly tingly upper body. Thanks for this very much!

I forgot to add. About 10 minutes into my meditation I feel heat coming down from head and goes down to my face, throat and into my body. I do feel peaceful after this. 🙏

I like your explanation of what happens with the diaphragm and the 'nerve' and also the two sides of it. I have been doing kundalini meditation and yoga for nearly a year, and some do not explain to use the breath and movement of the diaphragm in a certain way - - -little by little - listening to people like you - and Gabor Mate as well - helps to explain how this benefits scientifically - not that i NEED proof - but it makes it easier to remember when i am doing it - and what might be happening on bad days (asthma attacks day 3) thankyou for this.

The Hands Hot and Heavy are a great sign of the parasympathetic nervous system working, just wondering, is the tingling due to hyperventilation? I used to have a lot of anxiety and over breathing could cause tingling sensations everywhere. Great Stuff! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and insights!

Rob!! That's a really important question!! Thank you so much for asking that, because I really need to differentiate between HRV and Hyperventilation. It is absolutely NOT due to Hyperventilation and Hypoxia. What's happening is the opposite. By the longer breath we kick start the exchange of carbon and oxygen in the body, and MORE oxygen goes into the tissues. This, and the process of introception causes the tingling.

I've noticed doing kriya pranayama, my exhale can go almost twice as long as my inhale, about 10 second inhale 20 exhale, and this feels quite natural. Is this to be expected or is it too extreme? It puts me into an almost hypnagogic state afterwards where the thoughts that come up in the silence are sometimes almost nonsensical like when your falling asleep

That's okay for some of your practice. You could use that to drop down quickly, and then adopt a more balanced breath, with a slight emphasis on the outbreath (one second longer, or so). That breath seems to be the most effective. I have a training on where these breaths go here: www.meditativemellows.com/ Those unconscious thoughts also need to resolve and be released. What's happened is you've silenced most of the conscious talking of the left brain, and then 2nd, these deeper unconscious thoughts arise. Totally normal. Just let them pass.

Good, honestly I was getting worried I was developing schizophrenia with some of the weird visions I get lol. Nothing disturbing, just really goofy, like stuff you'd imagine after smoking too much weed from my teen years lol

@@negligent666 that's very normal. You can chant OM in the medulla especially, and in all the 6 chakras (not the top of the head or the 3rd eye), and see if that gets it to calm down a bit. Or chant OM directly into what you are perceiving. Let me know if it helps.

Reason I ask, is because I do some yoga energizing exercises, mahamudra, then Navi kriya before actual meditation. Been reading your new book too and so far the level one mastery is giving me so much. But I am interested in diving deeper in level two with the tranquil breath.

I can't speak for other yoga teachers. But HRV and the Holy Trinity of Breath that I teach are absolutely necessary in order to begin to enter into meditation.

I really thank you for your videos full of (easy to understand) information. I get very easily into the freeze response, even if I am about to sleep. The first time I felt it, I thought it was incredible confortable, like a mother's womb. But, as you say, it is different each time. It is possible to be there one or two houres. What's the next step, Forrest?

Does activation of DVN help to relieve lower back pain and other aches and pains in the body? 2. So, do we increase the outbreath in every breath cycle or do we keep it consistent throughout the meditation.

1. It does as you get into the freeze response. 2. We don't increase it incrementally if that's what you mean. We increase it for every outbreath roughly the same amount.

While I have been feeling the other 3 proofs for a while, it took your explanation for me to focus on and realize the DVN sensation too, especially during BPV. It feels like the DVN is where the anahata chakra is located or is their a slight difference in location?

That's exactly right! So with your previous meditative experience that's where you're probably going to notice it the very most. It's actually all along the spine opposite the rib cage. So we're talking all of the upper nervous system into the medulla.

I can do HRV very nicer or longer than you have nicely explained because I have been doing for 10 years but how long (time) I have do HHV to reach on blissful stage (no breath stage) I had that experience couple of times but not ever times or ever day. Please! I need your guidance. Love you Guru🙏❤️

As the prana rises into the upper nervous system, it's very common to experience heaviness or energy in the head. This can culminate in the 1st Knot of Lahiri Mahasaya that I often speak of.
