Can this concentration be used for things besides meditation? Like focusing on school work or sports?

Thanks Forrest. I have felt the knot in the third eye and had also found the way to solve that was to move the focus further back into my head. As or the third (spinning knot), I have also experienced that in a various number of positions on my spine so good to know it is a normal progression of my meditation journey.

I'm a lucid dreamer, I've seen the purple blob in meditation. When I wake in the morning and go right back to sleep..I can see a white light moving around and then the next thing that happens is I find myself in a dreamscape. I wonder if that's the spiritual eye I go through when I enter the dreamscape

Forrestjii. A hundred hours non-stop of Hakalau, Bhakti Yoga and Kriya Therapy combined couldn’t possibly activate my left amygdala and right hippocampus as much as this video of you and your darling little girl singing for us just did. I was looking for a little something to send me off to dreamland tonight and you two just burst my heart wide open. What a way to end my day. Thank you.🙏

Have been reading “Autobiography of a Yogi “ and always get more from it besides inspiration. Yogananda , was visiting Bhaduri Mahasaya , often and once Bhaduri commented to him “ You go often into the silence , but have you developed anubhava (Actual perception of God ) ? He was reminding me to love God more than meditation. “ Do not mistake the technique for the Goal.”

I think I realized what the problem for this technique is (for most of us). In the old times, people would go through purification and meditate for days to be able to "listen". So while you may be able to sense the correct intuition, my body gives different responses each day, because it's either driven by greed or laziness. So it doesn't work for me.

I find meditation after a strenuous workout significantly easier. Do you have anything to say about why that might be? I really struggle with just getting up and meditating but if I do something physical beforehand it's much easier. I think I get to tranquil breath much easier too.

Forrest, I know this is an old post and I've only been following you for a year, but Buddy, don't fall into this trap with this community. As a combat vet and someone that was around S.O.F communities for years, the people actively engaged in that community will use anything you hand them for the dark side. Yoda teaching Vadar. Do not fall for it. Vets on the other side trying to to find the light side of the force, will look and smell different.
